Of course, folks in favor of profiling don't seem to want to use it to relax security checks, only to tighten them up for certain groups. They seem uninterested in, for example, making it easier for a 60-year-old businessman with an artifical hip, who flies 200,000 miles a year without incident, to board a plane without being pulled out and subjected to an intrusive pat down every single time he flies!

ANS: only a small % of Terrorists are not Muslim and from Arab or Muslim nations.
It is OK to generalize.

Behavioral Profiling has become synonymous with stereotyping. Stereotyping is wrong. If necessary, change the name to "Behavioral Assessment", but observing aberrant behavior and reporting it, investigating further, and taking action is essential. All of us need to learn to trust our instincts (survival mechanisms). When we feel that something is wrong it probably is. Dianna Dean (former US Customer Inspector) trusted her instincts calling her feeling as "Hinkey" when she investigated a suspicious individual who turned out to be a terrorist who was going to bomb the LA Airport.(The Millennium Bomber"). Law Enforcement, TSA, Security Personnel and Inspectors need to hone their observation skills to recognize and react to abnormal behavior. Then then need to treat suspects with dignity and respect until the suspicion is resolved.

I would say the most important question would be, what does a terrorist feel like and live like, who do they talk to and are they kind of loaners when it comes to social activity. I dont get how any person in this world today can kill innocent men women and children that have done nothing wrong to anybody. Their ultimate destination will be either to the Lord or in Hell. Then the judgement will begin.

Nice composit photo. How about being fair and include people like Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, various Mexican druglords, black panthers, a few Nazis, Communists, Mao, Stalin, for instance. You know, a nice cross section of skin colors, not just the light colors. You must be afraid of the blowback of being honest.

Taking into account that the vast majority of air terorism is committed by radical muslims, it makes only common sence to take extra precautions with such an individual at the gates.

Where is the picture of Bill Ayers? They can even be college speakers and professors. However, let's be honest.. the vast majority of current terrorists look more like the guy in the middle.

Just think, timothy mcveigh's homegrown terrorist anniversary of April 19, 1995, is coming up in just over a week. I wonder if there are any rabid rightwad homegrown terrorists plotting another attack on innocent Americans?

Just listen to this clown Tuohey

"Racial and ethnic profiling, yes, they're not good things, but they're a tool," he said. "You're inconvenienced, you got profiled. It's a safety check. Are you unhappy because you're safe?"

No, we're unhappy because some ignorant redneck Hutaree terrorist wannabe who probably looks like your mother, and who is far more likely to cause damage than I, is not "profiled". You racist, sub-human, kkk-member pond scum let them through, so you can concentrate of hassling "minorities".

My apologies to any actual pond scum that might be insulted by the comparison.
