I voted for George Bush twice. Frankly I have been very dismayed during the past 4 years by some positions he took and by some of the decisions that he made: i.e. his initial positions on immigration, his massive spending: two wars at once; the lack of ''evidence'' in Iraq. But there are interesting parallels to be drawn with Abraham Lincoln. Both were very low in opinion polls while president, (Lincoln was finally assasinated.) both were called awful things when Americans died at war (but compare the numbers) (with Lincoln it was American against American) Both in my opinion, have/had character at their inner core. I do not believe that Bush is corrupt. Bush is not stupid He is not crazy. I believe that he has acted rationally. If Iraq comes to accord internally and is able to decide things for itself and ''works things out," then believe it or not, Bush will be judged more kindly as time passes. He may or may not have made the best decisions. (Get honest, do you?) But I do not agree that he has made stupid decisions. It is interesting that Americans do not see Lincoln or his generals as "bloody butchers" anymore. Many Americans alive in his time did.

At least she defends for her boss. That shows great loyalty.

She was somehow right - Bush took tough action to address 9/11 to do what he thought was right. Remember people cheer in Iraq when Saddam was captured and the statue was down?

However, no one expected the war continued with such a tough terrorist group behind. No one expected persistent disturbance inside Iraq herself. If all Iraqi behaves, Iraq can be one of the richest in the World like Kuwait. Nobody can figure out who are behind all those bombing and shooting among Iraqis.

Bush was kind of single-minded - to remove Saddam, to get some oil, to remove Taliban. He didn''t see the resilient coming for inside. If he learnt from the Vietnam war, he might be able to do it differently.

Anyway, Bush hasn''t done well in presenting his foreign policy ( others like Kyoto Climate issue, auto industry, re-usable energy etc) and caused US the reputation. He has though tried his best to secure US border and safety.

Let''s hope the Obama learn from history and do not repeat the same mistakes.

Hey jamurphy4. What the heck is wrong with you. You''re shallow minded thinking is forgetting about the previous administration that allowed/ignored the mess that the Bush administration inherited.

9-11 started when the US bailed on Afghanistan in 1989.

To say ol Goregie boy has kept us safe, is to forget about 9/11.. It happened on his watch.. The hard core Republicans will always be in a state of denial over the fool, and his attempt to destroy America, as will as our way of life. G.W. Bush is by far THE WORST PRESIDENT in our History.

seer57, what are you talking about? You don''t know anything about me! I have as many degrees as C. Rice does. I am also a totally responsible adult person, and not at all a "chickshit".

Most people recognize that Bush is an utter failure. I cited several very good reasons why he will be judged a failure by history. The majority of historians in the world today already consider Bush to be THE WORST US president of all time; It''s not just my opinion.

What is wrong with you Bush worshipers that makes you think that everyone who disagrees with your love of the little pretend cowboy is a "chicken" or a "moron"?

The NIE given to the president of the United States on August 6, 2001 said "Bin Laden determined to strike in US". What did the little cowboy do when warned? He went back to "cutting brush" on his "ranch" in Texas! Did he do ANYTHING to defend this country when it mattered? NO! Has he done ANYTHING useful since then? NO! Our borders are absolutely insecure, our airports are insecure, TSA is a JOKE, Bush attacked the WRONG country and killed all the WRONG people, making MORE enemies than we had before. And he broke the law, violated the constitution, authorized torture and war crimes, bankrupted the country, exported our jobs, illegally wiretapped US citizens, etc. Bush wasn''t "tough". Bush didn''t make us safer. He''s just a stupid CRIMINAL.

GW Bush: the WORST President of the US of ALL TIME! Condi Rice: nothing but his little lap girl.

""I think we have managed to keep the country safe," Rice said. "I think we''ve stood for freedom and liberty as something that every man, woman and child should enjoy. (UNLESS YOU ARE DEAD, THANKS TO ME AND PNAC) And I think we''ve built a lot of very good relationships around the world that are serving us very well in some of the most difficult challenges of all time." (WHICH IS WHY EVERYONE HATES US MORE THAN EVER)

You are living in a dreamland Condoleeza Rice.

"
She''s been called the administration''s "warrior princess," the true believer who''s visited scores of countries, traveling a million miles to implement, explain, and defend, president George W. Bush''s foreign policy."

=======
I believe it was Donald Trump who pointed out, that Rice certainly does make her way around, but nothing ever comes from it, no solutions and no progress. He''d fire her. 8 years and zero progress.

Good Riddance Condoleza.
