that the second amendment does grant the PEOPLE the right to keep and bear arms,,,
had it not,,, the government would have collected all the guns that did not belong to the malitia in dec 1791,,, THEY DID NOT,,,

- The Supreme Court has spoken. Now that should end the fear that the government might come some day and take the guns away. So now it''s time to register guns and gun owners. If someone wants to buy and own a gun, there is no reason not to require them to be registered. The Supreme Court has also said that it''s constitutional to require voters to have official identification in order to vote. Owning a gun cannot be considered a greater right than voting in this country.
