Sunday Morning: Are Service Members Discriminated Against By Evangelists Within The U.S. Military?
- student500 what is your opinion on America''s Outlawed PRAYER hidden in a Poem''s Song?..The Star-Spangled Banner''s Last Verse being our National Anthem..."Oh! Thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved homes and the war%u2019s desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the Heaven-rescued land (that''s U.S.)
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation! (that''s HIM!)
Then conquer we must, for our cause it is just, And this be our motto:
IN GOD IS OUR TRUST (Psalms 16:1)
And The Star-Spangled Banner in triumph shall wave (Song of Solomon 2:4)
O%u2019er the land of the free and the home of the brave!" Also, another poem''s song in a PRAYER is in the Last Verse of "My Country tis of Thee"...%u201COur father%u2019s God, to Thee, Author of Liberty, To Thee we sing; Long may our land be Bright with Freedom%u2019s Holy Light; Protect us by Thy Might, Great God, our King!" - Reply to this comment
- student500...The separation of church & state is a myth as We the People are the church & the state these two you can not separate unless you are willing to sacrifice "our Lord" from your constitution to include "our Lord" in The 7th Article of the U.S. Constitution adopted & ratified "in the year of Our LORD"...so much for freedom OF religion.

- DNA is a 3 Dimensional binary code & not some random chance lightning strike in a mud puddle''''s soup of some prehistoric self-replicating molecule on the backs of crystals! WHO is The Programmer for DNA...Microsoft%u2019s Mathematical Probabilities & Statistics Division of Nanotechnology? 1st law of Biogenesis is Life Begets Life. WHO is The Master Chef that used the correct recipe from the Periodic Table of Elements to cook up the Earth & every living thing on it to include the cell%u2019s own universe? In regards to light speed being broken by radio waves is precisely the reason I no longer measure distance of space/time by light-year anymore than sound-years! The Earth isn''t flat just evolution''s argument about a simple cell! 1st law of Biogenesis is Life Begets Life. The following KeyWords & KeyPhrases are taken from the U.S. Declaration of Independence in 1776: %u201CCREATOR, LAWS OF NATURE and of NATURE%u2019S GOD, Divine Providence, Supreme Judge of the World%u201D. %u201CWe hold these truths to be SELF-EVIDENT, that all Men are endowed by their CREATOR%u201D... so much for the censorship of THE CREATOR%u2019S CREATIONism!

- I think the inclusion of the statement "Seperation of Church and State" was intended for situations just like this. People arguing over opinions and making no forward progress or productivity.

- The Declaration of Indepedence, one of our nation''''''''s most cherished founding documents, clearly states that we are ALL ENDOWED BY OUR CREATOR with certain unalienable rights, including the pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness. The Declaration of Independence also clearly mentions GOD.

Hit publish too soon. I had to check. The Declaration mentions God and Creator precisely once each - not exactly a ringing endorsement for the almighty. - Reply to this comment

- WHO put the light bulb in the sky called the sun & flipped the switch...Thomas Edison? Why is it in science class a student is allowed to ask What, Where, When, Why, & How but as soon as the science student asks The WHO question they are expelled from class discussion for end of discussion? A false premise leads to a false result. The high priests of the scientific establishment still do not know WHO made the first Wheel Circle like a Zer0 in the sky called the Sun (HHe) nor can scientists give the final mathematical answer to the beginning & end of said Sun/Circle/Wheel/Zero. Trying to find the mathematical answer of PI of a circle is like trying to find the end of a Rainbow''s Circle, but the answer is simple. Having done the math PI%u2019s precise final answer is...for me to know & for you to figure out. We tell time by the Atomic Clock''s Nuclear Sun in space (space/time). Ironic that Earth, the water (H20) planet, can not exist without light (HHe). The Light created light just as The Son made the sun & Life from Light. Enlightenment exposes Dark Ages with Renaissance. Darkness exists only in the absence of light. When observable science clearly demonstrates Big-Bang explosives from bombs of war obliterate buildings & destroy life into extinction, how do Big-Bang explosions create Order out of Chaos? If everyone could see Ben Stein''''s movie Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed (PG).

- Martin Luther King Jr.''s Birmingham Jail Ltr said don''t follow me, follow Him,%u201CWas not Jesus an extremist for love: "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you."Was not Amos an extremist for justice: "Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever flowing stream." Was not Paul an extremist for the Christian gospel:"I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus."Was not Martin Luther an extremist:"Here I stand;I cannot do otherwise,so help me God."And John Bunyan:"I will stay in jail to the end of my days before I make a butchery of my conscience."And Abraham Lincoln:"This nation cannot survive half slave and half free."And Thomas Jefferson:"We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal..."So the question is not whether we will be extremists, but what kind of extremists we will be.Will we be extremists for hate or for love? Will we be extremists for the preservation of injustice or for the extension of justice? In that dramatic scene on Calvary''''s hill three men were crucified. We must never forget that all three were crucified for the same crime, the crime of extremism. Two were extremists for immorality, and thus fell below their environment. The other, Jesus Christ, was an extremist for love, Truth and goodness, and thereby Rose above His environment.Perhaps the South, the nation and the world are in dire need of creative extremists.%u201D

1) In the year of our Lord .... was the common way of saying A.D. 1787 (A.D. = Anno Domine Latin for "In the year of the Lord" it would have to be Domine Nobis for our Lord). It''s now BCE in scientific ters (before current events) but A.D. was all they had to go with so that''s what they used. Doesn''t have anything to do with belief therein.
2) Of course they talked about the Creator. They didn''t know any different in 1787. Time has marched on. Had the document been written by similarly educated people 100 years later - it would have read totally different.
3) I think there''s a difference between Creatorism and creationism. Creatorism is the old term used before people knew better; creationism is the newer term used by people who should know better.
I gotta go - hopefully this thread will still be alive tomorrow for further fun. - Reply to this comment
- Because the atheists don''''t believe in equality for all. Only their view. They don''''t believe in the rights of freedom of expression, choice, speech, and religion when it comes to Christians.
They want to "silence" the Christians'''' voice in America, even though percentage wise Christians make

Like I said liberals don''t take kindly to being told what to do. Christians, especially the fundamentalist ones, come off "Either you see it my way or it''s he11 for you." I don''t care about the he11 part, it''s the my way or no way that I object to. They''re just so bloody right all the time in their own mind. I was brought up Christian (C.of E.) and I''d probably tend to being atheist now - I just can''t get past the 1+1=3 logic of some beliefs. I don''t have any problem with you being Christian, nor even with you being a creationist, that''s the great thing about being liberal - anyone can have any belief they want and it''s OK - just don''t try to make me follow. - Reply to this comment
