I recently met Carol Buckley, and she is awe inspiring. When she couldn''t find a suitable place for Tarra to retire, she made one. When African elephants needed a new home, she and Scott built an area just for them. When the USDA confiscated Delhi from horrible conditions, she was made welcome. Delhi''s former circus companions, some of whom faced severe medical problems, followed and are now known as "The Divas".

No challenge is too great for Carol and Scott, and the elephants there are most fortunate. I suspect The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee gives Heaven a run for its money!

My husband and I don''t miss your Sunday Morning show, if we can help it. Today''s feature of the Elephant Sanctuary was so enlightening and uplifting! We''d never heard of it before, and applaud all they do. You did a great job covering it, and a great service by featuring this wonderful endeavor!

An Elephants Tail.
All of my nieces came to visit me this weekend. We have just moved here from Alaska and it was wonderful to finally be together. We were 5 on the bed and watching CBS Sunday Morning , ''An Elephants Tail''. We got to the end of the elephants journey where she wouldn''t get out of the van until she was finally met by the other elephant and the power went out!!!
We were so bummed. You could have heard the groans from the other side of our street. I''am so sad to have missed it. Thanks for telling us feel good stories. We all need more of this. I look forward to your show every sunday.
Thanks so much,

This is one of the most touching and enjoyable features I''ve seen in a while. I always love Bill''s segments, but this one was exceptional.
