I've been looking all over the Sunday Morning page this morning looking for a video of your comments and I can't find a link.

This was an excellent, excellent commentary asking some very good questions.

Todays (1/22/2012) commentary was the best.

CBS-Sunday Morning has always been my favorite "news show". I am comfortable with Sunday Morning. Years ago I was told if you were always comfortable in church you were not being preached to. So I understand Ms. Giles may be the one to make me uncomfortable. It is her freedom of speech. But, come on! Does it have to be EVERY SUNDAY?!? The constant sarcasm, anger, racism, and liberal bias is ridiculous. I feel that I am being extradited from my own living room for being a white, christian, conservative! Come on CBS loose the angry black woman! The "angry black woman" act is wearing thin everywhere. By the way, the majority of black woman I know is in church every sunday.

I saw your comments are Sunday Morning about the treatment the news media is getting. I must say, that I almost reached for the remote to change the channel, but I decided to listen you what you said. I want to applaud you on the non-biased type questions the media should be asking. Somehow, we have gotten away from news and more into the sensationalism. Thanks for your comments, perhaps real news reporters will overtake those that are entertainers.

Dear Nancy,
Loved your piece on Newt Gingrinch attacking the media, and your comments about the hypocrisy of politicians all together. It's refreshing that you showed hypocrisy from every side, not just one party, but both parties, not just politicians, but public figures. So many get in front of the public and preach one thing, but their private lives are another. Thanks for the reminder that we all need to stay informed before we vote for any politician who claims he or she can walk on water.

HI Nancy,

Good attempt at a story on the hypocrisy of public figures today (1/22) and their shots at the media. However, you profiled two current GOP presidential candidates, but nothing at current Democratic presidential candidates/President Obama. He has as many hypocritical tendencies as the rest. So why not go after him as well??? Isn't hypocritical to object that the media protects the president and left wing politicians or figures, but then NOT profile these people. You could have picked other prominent Democrats such as Barney Frank, Christopher Dodd. Or other public figures such as Rev. Jeremiah Wright. It appears your hypocrisy knows no bounds as well - and this is why the media catches so much justifiable flack. There is NO objectivity in the TV media and that is why you will continue to be a major target. It's time to put up, or shut up. Nice try today, but you definitely missed your mark.

This morning's tirade on hypocracy in politics belies the fact that in the 24 news cycle everyone without exception and including Barrack Obama are proven to be deeply flawed individuals and that also includes so called journalists. I strongly believe that there should be a required disclosure from journalists and commentators of all brands, channels and political persuasions that basically say I am a ____(fill in the blank)______supporter so we can then put their political views and opinions into perspective.
