"How do you know that there is no God?"

I''m not saying I know for sure, I''m saying I don''t have any reason to think there is. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

"Who are you so angry at?..."

That just incoherent, rambling, and bigoted. I''m not angry. I''m an extremely pleasant person until someone gets in my face rambling about how I deserve to burn forever for the horrible act of not believing in something for which there is no evidence.

"Have you ever really investigated the evidence for God?"

What evidence? I haven''t seen any. C.S. Lewis''s arguments were quite weak and logically inconsistent.

"Where did love, that hate you feel, and other emotions come from?"

Chemical reactions in my brain. It''s quite easy to induce these feelings in the lab using nothing but chemistry.

"What about the sun%u2019s position in relation to the earth."

Could one planet among trillions and trillions of stars and planets be in the right place to support life as we know it? Absolutely. It would be more amazing if it didn''t happen. The reason were here to ask these questions is that the planet is conducive to our type of life.

"Evolution is not a fact it is only a theory and you%u2019ll have to do better than that to win me over."

I never actually said anything about evolution, but if you can''t be bothered to get your nose out of your apologetics books and read an actual science book, there''s not much I can do about it.

How do you know that there is no God? You would have to know everything and that would make you God. Now, if you say you do not know if there is a God that at least makes sense.

Who are you so angry at? You say that you have a live and let live attitude so it can%u2019t be other people. Could it be God? You can%u2019t be angry at something that doesn%u2019t exist.

Have you ever really investigated the evidence for God? Smarter atheist than you, like C.S. Lewis, could not help but be convinced. It is overwhelming. Where did love, that hate you feel, and other emotions come from? What about the sun%u2019s position in relation to the earth. If it was just a smidgen off we would either freeze or burn up. Could that have happened by chance? And there is so much more if you care to look.

The thing is that you have no answer for any of this. Evolution is not a fact it is only a theory and you%u2019ll have to do better than that to win me over.

It is natural for a rational person to want irrational people to stop thinking irrationally.

At the very best, religion is a silly idea that some people cling to as a crutch to get them through the rough times, similar to a drug.

But at its worst it leads to massive violence, hatreds, genocide, and theocracies.

It is so silly that the theists look at atheists as if we are the bad guys and shouldn''t make fun of their beliefs.

But come on, can you honestly say you wouldn''t make fun of someone if they believed in the easter bunny or santa claus. Not only is the idea of religion silly and foolish, but people who buy into religion tend focus their lives on it so much. They focus their lives around an idea that is very silly just so they can cope with the fact that when they die, they no longer exist, no heaven, no hell, just nothingness.

In addition to that, religion slows the progress of science, costs the lives of many every year due to suicide bombing, terrorists, blockades on life saving research.

Plus can you really trust a person to make good decisions if they believe that aliens souls inhabit our bodies, or that eating the flesh and blood of a Jewish zombie will get you into heaven? I mean, if a person holds such irrational beliefs like this so close to heart how can you trust this person to make rational decisions?

God is supposedly all knowing and all wise - all that has and will ever happen was not only foreseen, but planned. if this is truly the case than god must be a sadomasochist. He created all of existence, man the devil and planned for all sin to occur. He then reincarnated himself as a man god to save his creations from the sins he not only knew they were going to commit but planned for them to commit them. Thus, he must have planned for his creations to sin so he could send himself back as a man god so he could be tortured and killed before he resurrected himself and went back in to heaven to be with himself again.

The bible says for the wages of sin is death.
But God manifest into human flesh to die so we can live. so our sins can be wash by his blood. Thank God for calvary.

Christians who are slaves should give their masters full respect so that the name of God and his teaching will not be shamed. If your master is a Christian, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. You should work all the harder because you are helping another believer by your efforts. Teach these truths, Timothy, and encourage everyone to obey them. (1 Timothy 6:1-2 NLT)

If you buy a Hebrew slave, he is to serve for only six years. Set him free in the seventh year, and he will owe you nothing for his freedom. If he was single when he became your slave and then married afterward, only he will go free in the seventh year. But if he was married before he became a slave, then his wife will be freed with him. If his master gave him a wife while he was a slave, and they had sons or daughters, then the man will be free in the seventh year, but his wife and children will still belong to his master. But the slave may plainly declare, ''I love my master, my wife, and my children. I would rather not go free.'' If he does this, his master must present him before God. Then his master must take him to the door and publicly pierce his ear with an awl. After that, the slave will belong to his master forever. (Exodus 21:2-6 NLT)

However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)

When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5 NLT)

3) More Murder Rape and Pillage (Deuteronomy 20:10-14)

As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you.

4) Laws of Rape (Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NLT)

If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.

What kind of lunatic would make a rape victim marry her attacker? Answer: God.

Burn Nonbelievers

"Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods. In such cases, you must examine the facts carefully. If you find it is true and can prove that such a detestable act has occurred among you, you must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as well as all the livestock. Then you must pile all the plunder in the middle of the street and burn it. Put the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. That town must remain a ruin forever; it may never be rebuilt. Keep none of the plunder that has been set apart for destruction. Then the LORD will turn from his fierce anger and be merciful to you. He will have compassion on you and make you a great nation, just as he solemnly promised your ancestors. "The LORD your God will be merciful only if you obey him and keep all the commands I am giving you today, doing what is pleasing to him." (Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT)

Is god too busy "miraculously" healing cancers and diabetes to answer the prayers of amputees?

5 - You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.

4 - You believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of those who share your beliefs -- though excluding those in all rival sects - will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."

3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.

2 - You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.

1 - You actually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call yourself a Christian.

Top Ten Signs You''re a Fundamentalist Christian

10 - You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.

9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.

8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Triune God.

7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don''t even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!

6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.

Remember kids, Agnostics don''t believe in God...but Athiests don''t want OTHERS to believe in God...Athiests are the "Fundamentalists" of the "non-religion" sect.

Hence all the long winded god-bashing you see here...

It was a man who came and prayed for my aunt and the evil spirits were cast. It wasn''t him that casted the evil spirit out but it was God. God can work through people. The bible says " The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

I remind people that American Atheists are American''s FIRST!
That means that everyone has a right to be wrong! We all learn by trial & error, at least as children until we finally have a track record of knowing Santa Claus is fiction,
teeth fairies are fiction,
Jeebus is fiction & Moses is fiction,
Mohammed, though a historic mass murderer, his book Quran & commentaries are fiction, Bahaullah & Angel Moroni & all other recent invented religions are mostly fiction,
their claims for an alleged single deity or the multiple deities of Buddhists, Hindu''s & Jains & Shinto''s are all fiction.....
so far, the track record for alleged deities is fiction, now if THAT WERE NOT SO, one alleged deity would come & rescue her/his "children", BUT NOOOOOOOOOOO, Jehovah & Jeebus are monstrous child abusers, guilty of child neglect, stand by with total miracle power to save every last child from disease (which Jehovah invented) war (which Jehovah loves) trauma (preventable) & molestation! Only Atheists & secular social workers rush in to prevent child abuse. Well, enough for now, thank you so much alleged deities for creating me with an Atheist brain so that I can know that you & Webster just made it all up. George Carlin ought to be next on CBS to keep the world laughing & smiling because religion is too painful to take seriously.

Is your only explanation for this miracle an omniscient, sentient entity that defies everything we know about biology and physics?

"Miracles" happen every day. Look up a guy named Sathya Sai Baba. He is an Indian guru with 6 million followers, all of whom believe that he has performed miracles and fulfilled prophecies. That''s happening now, despite the information revolution.

Imagine how easy it would be for something like that to happen 2,000 years ago. I''ll never understand why people take mythology as absolute truth.

I will not question my God if he really exist.
I''ve have seen my Aunt possessed with evil spirit casted out. I''ve heard story''s over and over in church on how God healed their body with cancer and other sickness etc. Not just healed over time but did a Miracle and healed them instantly.

The fact is that there isn''t a shred of objective evidence anywhere in the universe that any god exists, and the idea of a god defies everything we know about physics and biology. You would think that this would be enough to make everyone into an atheist.
