It is all very well for some in an ivory tower living on a grant from drug pharma to blather on and on BUT real Americans have to deal with Merck vaccine that deafens children - how does that intellectual advise explaining to a 7 year-old why he is suddenly totally and irreversibly deaf as a result of State required Merck-pushed MMR vaccine damage? How does one communicate practically within several weeks from regular voice to absolutely nothing?

There's something inherently humorous about people terrified of one specific thing: vaccines, cigarette smoke, cholesterol, whatever the boogieman of the hour might be, when we all walk around in a massive cloud of carbon monoxide everyday emitted from automobile tailpipes. Might as well die from something. And now they've discovered that saliva causes stomach cancer if swallowed in small amounts over a long period of time.

It' NOT the vaccinations per se. IT'S THE PRESERVATIVES IN THE VACCINATIONS CHILDREN ARE HAVING ALLERGIC REACTIONS TO RESULTING IN AUTISM IN SOME CASES. Formaldehyde is one of the preservatives used in vaccination serums. Formaldehyde is highly carcinogenic. These preservatives are used because they are CHEAP, not because they are the safest. When you are making millions of doses, money is all these big vaccination manufacturers care about. Theoretically, some individual vaccination doses could even be getting more of these preservatives than other doses for whatever reasons - coming to the end of the line or starting up a new line of vaccinations during refilling. Perhaps, if this little boy had not been given three vaccinations at once, the level of preservatives would not have reached a dangerous level in his little body. Perhaps, if vaccinations were made fresh instead of loaded with preservatives, these reactions would never happen. But it's all about money. Serums that go bad have to be thrown out and result in a loss of money for the manufacturers. It's all tragic, really, that money is all these companies care about, not safety first. Or they wouldn't make up serums that last a year because they are so well preserved.

One other thing, Thimerisal is not mercury it is a compound, mercury is that liquid silvery substance found in older thermometers and other places.
Silver form of mercury is toxic, it can be absored thru the skin and fumes inhaled, but remember, mercury comes out of the earth, it wasn't invented by man.

First, everyone has silver fillings and no problems, your son is the problem- HIS immune system, genetics and body is the one at fault and overly sensitive, it's not the fault of the fillings or vaccines which EVERYONE has with no problems other than the small percentage who do- allergies are an example- I have NO allergies of any kind, ragweed, pollin, pets etc doesn't bother me, but some people wind up in the hospital, is that the fault of ragweed, pollin, pets, or the deficiency of the person's immune system which is screwed up?

You will probably find later as he grows up he will be sensitive to many things in the environment.

You get these kids growing up in houses that are kept sterile like hospitals, I mean it no joke I've seen them and I work with 2 people who are so sensitive to odors, products, air freshners, laundry soap perfumes, any dusts, pets, paints, molds etc that they call in sick very often and go to the doctor for shots for allergies and whatever else they get.

A third has a daughter who is the same way- the daughter works in a computer chip firm and wears a bunny suit all day

They all were living in these super-clean homes as kids, my theory is these kids were kept in these sterile homes during the critical period when their immune systems were developing, but everything was kept hospital clean so their immune systems were never challenged, then as adults when they were exposed to more things their immune systems couldn't cope with any of it and was overwhelmed, the result is illness, sickness, trouble breathing, coughing, runny eyes, redness of the skin and lethargy.

Kids growing up in the 30's and 40's etc were exposed to a LOT, they didnt HAVE antibacterial handsoaps nor mommies who all but flame sterilized everything from the floors and toilet to hands.

Dont forget the lawn chemicals, housepaints that were preserved with mercury and antifungal chemicals, plastics that give off chemical fumes especially in your CAR.

Well even if they were given a percentile number for "risk" of death, illness say 1 in 10,000 what good would that information do? Does knowing your risk for being struck by lightning or death in a traffic accident stop you from going out or driving?
They, like everyone else would hear that figure 1 in 10,000 and think nothing can happen to THEM, it's always the other guy and they would have gotten the vaccination anyway- you KNOW they would have.
Percentages are meaningless unless you happen to be the 1 in 10,000 and you take a chance like everyone else does no matter what you do- get the vaccination or not.
I suspect there's a lot more to this than JUST vaccines because these vaccines have been around for ages and it's only in recent years that people are getting all these wierd things like MS fibromayalgia, cancers and immune system collapses. I'd try looking at the water, food and air FIRST, I'd try looking at all the krap people apply daily to their bodies- everything from chemicals in the form of antiperspirants, deodorizers, synthetic clothes, antibacterial soaps, hand cleaners, hair dyes, makeup. The exposure to formaldehyde gas from new carpeting, upholstered furniture and pressedwood products, and then the pills, medications etc etc.

I have a nephew and a cousin who developed just after their MMR shots. So I do believe that their might be a genetic component. However, I also believe that the shots play a part. Some things to look at are the homeland security act for proof that there is some type of cover up going on. Also check the article I posted at the start for more.
Wow, it is amazing that in my lifetime I have seen an incredible number of governmental scandals involving covering up facts. Yet there are still people out there who go out of there way to blindly believe anything that they say, with out systematically checking other sources. Don't get me wrong, there are many good scientist working in the government doing good work. But remember, there are politicians at the top of every governmental organization is headed by a political appointee and as we see today, those appointees do not always do what is best for the people, but often do what is best for the corporations they are beholden to. THis is a on going theme for our government with its' money based system. The CDC is not a no-partial bureaucracy. They have been working with the pharmaceutical industry. read a little before you set your fingers typing on such a tragedy.

This link from the CDC actually states a study is in process (not completed with no findings listed as yet) for both the link to Autism and Neurological disorders connected with vaccines containing Thermosil.
Why attach a news agency for bringing an issue to the public's knowledge so it could be open for debate? Knowledge is power. Personally I felt the article was skewed to belittle the stance of the parents that are against vaccines because I didn't feel it mentioned the Mercury debate and it appeared as if the parents were stating that vaccines shouldn't be issued. That isn't the case. Vaccines are GOOD and beneficial to society. I question the benefits of Mercury/Thermosil; especially since drug companies have since distributed vaccines that do not include the Thermosil. If Autism is strictly genetic why is it that there was a significant rise in autistic children in China after vaccinations with trace mercury were introduced in that country. A country that previously had little or no autistic children? Even if the vaccine isn't to blame could it be that something other than genetics produces autism; exactly how can we be sure what the cause is especially with such a significant rise in cases?

We are disappointed that CBS implicitly legitimized the claims that vaccines are associated with autism. Although there are some known, proven risks to vaccines, autism is not among these risks. Several recent studies have shown that children who receive vaccines are at no higher risk for developing autism than those that do not.

It is understandable that parents whose children develop a debilitating disease such as autism would look aggressively and passionately for a cause. They have vilified vaccines simply because some children coincidentally develop the first symptoms of autism soon after a vaccine. The vaccine/autism debate is a distraction from finding real causes and treatments for autism.

Actually I just reviewed the FDA website concerning Thimerosal and I must contest the previous statement made by "gottagit". The FDA study does not prove that there is no connection in the rise in autism due to the trace mercury. The FDA findings in their reveiw stated that the amount of mercury did not excede the recommended maximum. Does that mean that the FDA has the final and definitive statement on what amount of mercury is due much to administer to infants? Does that mean that the FDA is infaliable?
More harm can be generating by blindly accepting the findings of one organizations study than can be found in supporting some independant and more indepth studies that could in fact reinforce the original findings or determine that perhaps no level of mercury is acceptable to introduce to infants.

My grandson is autistic. They discovered this when he was around 2 yrs. old. How can you say to a family that has an autsitic child, he has been sacrificed for others. This is a tragedy, what and who will take care of these children after the parents and families have left this earth. Overload on the mental establishments. The scope of this problem is unbelievable and devastating.
It is so hard to look at a child and know you are helpless to help. Why don't the drug companies try to figure away to erase the mercury in their products.

After my son contracted lesions on his brain and spine in Oct. 2005 which caused him to be completely paralyzed, I will NEVER vaccinate my children again. He also had two silver fillings removed from his teeth - amalgams are loaded with Mercury. Thankfully, my son is now walking again and fully recovered, but it took over a year, and hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical expense. We will never know what caused the lesions, but vaccinations and mercury could have been to blame. I also cook with organic foods now, and stay away from processed foods. After our medical nightmare, we have learned that the medical community does not know everything.

I am a bit disappointed in this story. I count myself as one of the parents that question the benefit of some of the vaccinations but ONLY those that use the MERCURY wash.
The story depicts the debate as Pro or Con vaccination but that isn't the real issue. The issue at hand is why did the drug companies change the vaccination process to include this Mercury and ever since this change was implemented in MANDATORY vaccinations to our children why has there been a SIGNIFICANT rise in Autistic and Delay Disordered children?

It seems to me that the story that needs to be shown isn't pro or con vaccinations but pro or con Mercury within vaccinations. Let the drug companies tell me why it's important to include such a harmful material in the process of making these vaccinations. Let them explain to me why the REWARD of introducing mercury in the process out weighs the growing RISK. What was broken about the old process that required this change?
I would really like to know and so would my son who is one of those every 6 children that suffer from Delay Disorder or any of his classmates that suffer from the same or greater challenges.

As a parent of a casualty to the vaccines, I have researched and researched how this could have happened. While we do not have rock solid studies, neither do the opposing side that say vaccines do not cause Autism. My son was perfectly developing until a DT vaccine at 16 months of age that contained Thimerosal (Mercury preservative). Within two weeks of that shot my son stopped talking and within 2 months he fit the criteria for Autism. We have since been treating him through a Defeat Autism Now doctor who can accept that vaccines are not without risk. As for the benefits outweighing the risks, I cannot say that the minute risk of my child developing Diptheria or Tetnus, or even Measles Mumps or Rubella outweighed the risk of a vaccine injury (AKA Autism). Vaccines that contain neurotoxins in addition to allergens and other harmful substances are not safe. What about boosting immune systems with natural enhancers like Vitamin C before injecting babies with toxic material. 1 in 150 children are being diagnosed with Autism. The medical community must accept that a huge mistake has been made, swallow thier pride and make it right. The truth will eventually come out. It is up to each and every medical professional to decide if they want to continue to inject babies with Autism causing vaccines or if they choose to make a change and start addressing the real cause of Autism and give these children a chance at a normal healthy happy life.
