You might never reach your goal if you keep stooping to smell the dirty dollars along the way.

If someone CHOOSES to reject health insurance, then encounters a serious health problem, why should the public pay for his problem?

If he receives treatment, he should be BILLED for that treatment, and should be expected to pay the bill!

I see we have yet another CBS op ed critical of the GOP and generalizing about all GOP supporters and members. Ms. Giles makes a feeble attempt to berate the GOP by quoting from the bible and states "Now, I haven't been to church in years, but I seem to remember the question of "Am I my brother's keeper?" Although many Americans would agree with this statement as is evidenced through the large charitable gifts given to numerous causes each year, may I remind Ms. Giles that this is personal responsibilty and graciousness prompting these gifts not a huge central government forcing all its citizens to provide for the well being of others. Over the years the shear ineffectiveness of government to run any program cost effectively and efficiently without fraud should have opened Ms Giles eyes as to why many not just the GOP have a problem with government is the answer and end all to provide medical care to all its citizens. Since you haven't been to church in years Ms. Giles may I suggest you take the time to visit and pray to the diety of your choice that your eyes and brain be opened so that you can provide readers with a less biased and vengeful tone to your op eds.

I am a son of the original T Party before they actually became organized or even had a name. But they were always there in the Republican Party. My dad taught us the hate yet claiming Jesus as our savior. When I was in eight grade I cheered when I heard Prez Kennedy was killed; after all he was a sinning, idol worshipper catholic, and destroying America! I was sent to the office for my cheering, my dad was called in, and before we left the school, my dad have pushed and punched the vice principal. My eyes began to be opened while watching the confirmation hearing with Orin Hatch and Aneti Hill. What a bunch of FOOLS belong to the extreme Roight. My dad, still alive still wants to take all liberals (maybe me included) behind the shed and kill us, and why? Because of Christ? No. Because he simply believes differently, and has a stick of hate/greed stuck up his butt. I have a brother who has adopted the same outlook. They only feel compassion when it happens to their own. No stem cell research until one of their own has cancer. No seat belts to be warn until my sister went through a windsheil in a vehicle wreck. And remember when smoking cigs was okay in the hospital waiting rooms? It was the damn liberals that have been the watchdogs of America. God Bless the watchdogs. And the T Partiers need to GROW UP and stop acting like spoiled brats.

If anyone really thinks the welfare party is better........they are truly fools.

Neither political party cares 2 cents about the people of this country.

However, the GOP believe in earning their way......while the Dems are nothing but welfare socialists, who want to pay people to sit around on drugs, drinking and gambling away their welfare checks.

WOW - what a revealing display of collective Narcissistic Personality Disorder among the Republican candidates. Talk about seeing their "inner Mel Gibsons" as I refer to this dreadful behavior. My mother is a Narcissist and a Republican, so I've grown up with this sick demeaner and don't appreciate it either in our politicians or their constituents. What these people lack is a moral conscience in spite of their bible belt pronouncements to the contrary. I was as appalled as Nancy Giles, so thanks Nancy for bringing this issue to everyone's attention.

Well, you figure out a way to pay for health care for everyone.....OH YEAH, TAX THE RICH!!!

(PS...taking 100% of all income from the top 2% barely puts a dent in the deficits.....so you have to look elsewhere.)
