- In number 10, it mentions that a "sign of God" was observed. Jesus also set a child in the midst of adults to teach them something about their relationship with God. This news story is one more perfect example of how we can learn more from the child than we can from the adults.

- Happy Fathers' Day to David and Mark. What a blessed little girl to have two loving parents.

- When you got too many stray pets, you kill the unwanted ones. When humans get over populated the quality of life drops. Sex preference makes no difference in raising a child. However, being sane, sober, kind and decent do. If this nation were to ever evolve, we would make it a law for mandatory testing in order to have the right to reproduce. Because right now, our gene pool is taking a nose dive.

- I am so glad that I did not have two mom's or two dad's,but, a mother & father. I didnt have gay parent's. O.K.,think what you well,I well wonder what Jesus or Paul or Peter would say about this matter.Frankly, these two gay guys are rather sick & gross. Its something I dont get.A child should not be raised by gays, an that is where I stand, religion or not.

- I don't care if you're black or white, gay or not... What's important is the love and care they are giving to this human being that obviously was abandoned by the parent, or parents.
How long are going to get stuck on this "Typical parents"- Or "normal family"????!!
More and more you see the normal family/Typical parents leaving their own biological children behind&
Take that "you people" that can only find the negative in other's actions. - Reply to this comment

- This is how we should remember Father's Day? Two homosexual males raising a black toddler? Another example of social engineering. I'm disappointed you couldn't have shown a more typical and normal example of parents. Seems the media again wants to show only the deviations in our society.

- The bottom line here is whether or not being raised by two homosexuals will have a negative impact on a child's development. We all know that being raised by abusive heterosexual parents will greatly harm a child - and as such, if you are proven to be an abusive parent, the state will go so far as to remove your children from your custody for their protection.
Virtually all psychologists agree that our parents have a massive influence on our psychological, emotional, relational & yes... sexual development - yet few are willing to engage the discussion as to whether or not this specific arrangement might - for lack of a better term - screw the kid up. Most 'studies' that address the issue hail from those thoroughly entrenched in a pre-determined outcome on this matter while other, more objective researchers opt to study less volatile subjects that won't put their careers & perhaps even personal safety at significant risk.
In the end, this will be a social expermiment of sorts & I hope for the sake of these children that the outcome is positive. I DO know one thing however, the idea that homosexuality is confined to the free choices of two consenting adults no longer applies. As evidenced by this story, it increasingly involves the welfare of children in the most intimate & critical of capacities - parenting & family. - Reply to this comment
- I want to applaud CBS for their compassionate inclusion of all families on the Sunday Morning Show. This story brought tears to my eyes and a joy in my heart. How many of us were able to remember the light in our own fathers' eyes when they spoke of us as we witnessed in Mark and David's eyes? I am thankful that this sweet little girl has two fathers who worked very hard to bring their daughter into their lives. Thank you CBS . Kudos to your insight.

- I really loved this piece. My own personal life experiences and lessons taught by my own daughter have been unequaled by anything I could of learned at any institute of higher education. This family truly knows the meaning of unconditional love.
....and to all the haters out there, you'll never stop us, God won't let you. - Reply to this comment
