I wish this was on video. I know people who would never read the transcript, but would watch the video. And this piece (well done BTW), might inspire others to change thier paths of self destruction.

Great segment on the current status of Mike Tyson. THX "Sunday Morning and Mike" for sharing your new chapter in life.

He used to eat human ears, now he eats bird beaks. A work in progress indeed.

I just made up a new chat abbreviation... COL... cry out loud. I was truly moved by this piece. So many young kids are seemingly bruised and restructured by inhumane/painful experiences in their youth. This big kid is finally shedding the callous of his childhood, fighting career, bizarre behavior, and unexpected tragedy. His new life, like a splinter emerging from a heart just could not beat, enlightens my own attitude towards hope. We learn all too late that our aim should not be success, but significance. May he be especially significant to the non-Believers, to his children and especially to the kids that look up to him as a hero. He will become worthy role-model as he sheds the cocoon of a derailed existence. COL!

You know, 20 years ago I would have bet Mike Tyson would be dead or in prison for life by 2011. I don't know if I buy all the introspective stuff, but it looks to me that he has found a place where he is comfortable and for that I say "Good Job Mike"

WOW! We are so proud of Mike Tyson's maturity. Some people never reach this level of consciousness. He has come a long ways, and he now realizes that love with family, peace of mind and morality are what supersedes his past life. Way to Go! We wish you much success.

I AM impressed. The story acknowledges the complexity of the man, we don't know if he will ultimately overcome his "demons", but I for one admire how far he's come. Wonderful interview. Thanks.
