I am heart broken because Mr. Stein has ruined the one program I have always gone out of my way to watch and that has been a favorite since childhood, Sunday Morning News.

This is the best quality news or morning show on the major networks.
I appreciate the intelligent and original stories rather than the fluff and repackaged press releases that you find on every other major network. It is thoughtful and full-fledged reporting. Telling tough stories from many different perspectives will always be contentious, but I never feel the show is biased and I always remark to myself and appreciate the show every time I get to watch it.

Well done

It was so disappointing this morning to watch one of my favorite shows CBS SUNDAY MORNING and then hear such hatred toward Arabs, such right wing Israeli government cynicism spewed by Ben Stein. His whole approach to the "Arab" world - by the way, Arabs are not one people, but made up of many different peoples and religions - was filled with clear fear and prejudice. You owe to your viewers to have another guest comment on the changes taking place in that region of the world vis a vis the rest of the world. Many of us are tired of the right wing Israeli government line - peace Jews in Israel, Interfaith groups, etc. His commentary was hateful, non concstructive, ignorant and dangerous in it's approach to such a sensitive reality. How disappointing from Sunday Morning!

I must 2nd what Cindy writes about the pole dancing. That's news worthy? You are supposed to be professional journalists, not professional urinalists! Can the sensationalism, CBS. If this is your idea to raise ratings, stop being so covert and start a pay-per-view porno channel! Hmm, but that might sulley your good name, right? Good thing Charles Korault (sp?) isn't around to see what's become of a once stellar show.

Most Sunday mornings my wife and I thoroughly enjoy your program. However this morning was an exception.

I took offense to the commentary that was given by the African- American toward the end of the program. His comments were exceptionally biased and not in keeping with the good family nature of this program. Quite frankly, I found him and his delivery disgusting.

Please leave such political nonsense to the "bobbing-heads" element of your programming that follows.

My husband and I have been watching Sunday Morning for over 15 years. Our children, ages 11 and 7, often watch with us. I love that they get as much out of it as we do. However, today's show is making me think that I have to pre-screen episodes before they watch, much as we do with "Glee" and other tv shows.

We were worried that it might be awkward to watch the pole dancing story with them. At first it was mostly focused on the athletic and artistic aspects of it so we were okay. We didn't realize it was going to turn PG-13/R when you cut to the NJ soccer moms discussing being sexy and using the poles with their significant others, followed by the PDA organizer talking about keeping one's clothes on and wearing stiletto heels. I know that today's children see more and know more than I ever did, but I do try to keep what they see and hear in the home at a G-PG rating. I wouldn't let them watch a movie or sitcom with so little clothing and so much sexuality; why should Sunday Morning be allowed?

Certainly it was simple enough to turn off the pole dancing story, but even in the other stories today there were comments about Prince Harry and girlfriend "...ripping each other's clothes off," Kate & William making babies, and even some fairly racy scenes of Cary Grant in his films.

While I am sure you didn't mean to, you turned a Sunday morning tradition into some very awkward moments for our family. Next time, can we please have a "heads up" when topics might include PG-13 or R-rated images or comments? I would hate to think that we need to stop our kids from watching and learning from Sunday Morning going forward.

Thanks.

Cindy in Stamford, CT
