I've been to South Africa. It is not some backward third world country and I really do not think they will be to impressed by your prayers for them. They have their own churches and they are for the most part good and honest people.
Further, it is a beautiful country with the wine regions in the cape area being very old world European. As for the game preserves they have done a lot better with theirs than we have. This is their coming out party. They have earned it.
