I love watching George Lopez's comedy routines but have never had any doubt in my mind that he is a racist. I wonder why nobody ever asks what the Latino deputies that work for him, make busts of illegal aliens and enforce all the other laws think of these accusations.

just viewed the snippet of the lopez routine. found it on the LA Times website. he took shots at romney too. the audience was laughing and applauding. it kind of like those dvds of richard pryor when he would go off in his routines and nearly every other word was mf. it was just a comedy routine and nothing shocking to the ear, nothing unusual. it was a comedy routine. don't see where romney or arpaio should get upset about it. if you see the routine, it's kind of funny ala richard pryor.
when i was growing up comedians like red skelton, jonathan winters ect could make you laugh without profanity. has any one checked to see if george lopez is a legal American? Maybe he has a lot of relatives who are illegal. every one else that comes to america does it legal how come the hispanic don't have to
America suffers from talent being blocked by controllers and no-talents being promoted. Controllers stuff Americans with crap like Dancing With The Stars. No, it's not a matter of personal taste, it's a matter of America and achievement and talent. All is being destroyed by the commies in Hollywood and DC. America has become a carnival freak show. Even the judges are twists. The comedians have nothing to say that is remembered the next day. "Shock value" started the tripping for the fall. We've let the commies damage us in many many ways. When will Americans stop cowering before these promoted puppets and use their clickers to vote them out, call sponsors and tell them off, tell the network it won't work to keep force feeding us crap. Lopez is for hispanics, obviously fits the Mexican game show host variety. No talent but lots of politics.
have no idea what lopez said as this article does not report exactly what was said. there are curse words and then there are curse words. some are widely accepted and no longer viewed as cursing.
The Sheriff is one of the symptoms of what is so very wrong in right-wing AZ. He's even a bigger buffoon than Jan Brewer. Call it like it is Latinos, and vote accordingly this November.
Sheriff Joe is doing the job the Feds are derelict in their duties in doing. Cleaning out the illegal invaders. He should be cloned and voted in everywhere there is an illegal invader problem. I don't live in Maricops County but if I did he would get my vote every time he comes up for re-election.
Sheriff Joe is a great American standing up against changing this country into something it has never been. You don't show love of anything by "fundamentally transforming" it.
