- I smell a poor attempt at a cover-up. There are more documents, if they haven't already been destroyed or erased.

- What it boils down to is we have a Federal govt that can do anything it wants. ANYTHING. it is not restricted by any laws anymore,no oversight or anything at all. This is not what the Constitution says.
A Govt above any law anytime it chooses. - Reply to this comment
- Well, at least we know how Hillary knew about American guns in Mexico. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWckd5P3Fuw

- just another scandal in the life of the current administration... between scandals, suing states and taking vacations it's no wonder the economy doesn't get fixed.

- "significant confidentiality interests"
Yeah someone wants to get re-elected! So he needs this all to be "significantly confidential" - Reply to this comment
- "Sources say Mexico's frustration with U.S. efforts to stop the flow of weapons has pushed them into this novel approach."
What a crock:
- This was an illegal operation initiated to bolster Obambi's claim that AMERICAN guns are flooding Messiko so as to staunch manufacturing, commerce, and firearm rights.
- Fully auto weapons (assault rifles) enter Messiko via ship from E. Europe, Central/South America, and the Middle East every day.
- Well, gee, when you threaten American (Arizonans) FFL
(Federal Firearms License, i.e. wholesale buyers and sellers - the small dealers were already put out of business by the BATF)
possessors with some minor infraction so as to lose their license, of course they'll cooperate with LEOs (law enforcement officers).
It's a classic case of a set-up, nee, entrapment:
"We have you on videotape selling to a 'straw buyer' [ours], now cooperate and we'll look the other way and let you keep your FFL and maintain your livelihood".
In other words - Help the Feds commit crimes and you're okay in their book - until the NEXT administration comes in, investigates and prosecutes you.
I've seen this movie before, and I worked in the Fed system for years.
ObahOlder and his corrupt pals should be worried, very worried.

- Since when can you buy a FULLY AUTOMATIC Ar-15 from a gun store without the tax stamp?? First obama had to know about this, I remember hillary going around saying all the weapons in mexico can from America, so if the state department knew and holder knew at the DOJ then how could obama not have known, he is the one that wanted to make the brady people happy along with the anti gun people.
The other thing that bothers me is if they sue the gun manufacturers what damage does that do to them?? - Reply to this comment
- "Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) and Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) have asked to interview O'Reilly by September 30. But the Administration informed them that O'Reilly is on assignment for the State Department in Iraq and unavailable."
How CONVENIENT..in other words...HILLARY is also involved. Bet this guy takes a round between the eyes before he can testify...he will get Vince FOSTERIZED! - Reply to this comment
- The question is:
WHAT DID THE PRESIDENT KNOW AND WHEN DID HE KNOW IT? - Reply to this comment
- The documents show extensive communications between then-ATF Special Agent in Charge of the Phoenix office Bill Newell - who led Fast and Furious - and then-White House National Security Staffer Kevin O'Reilly. Emails indicate the two also spoke on the phone.
Now this is so weird. We in the financial industry MUST review emails on a daily basis to look for corruption. Can anyone tell me, does the White House have to live under these same rules?
And if not, why not? - Reply to this comment
