- I have been following the Fast and Furious debacle very closely since January. The story broke on December 28, 2010. I have read at least 1000 articles, watched the hearings and kept scrupulously up to date on the developments. Some of the comments on this story are incredibly ignorant. Any suggestion that George Bush is responsible for the Fast and Furious gunwalking scam is an outrageous lie. This genious plan was developed in Eric Holder's justice department starting in or around March 2010. All whistle blowers have testified that they had never ever been ordered by their supervisors to let guns walk before this operation was launched. John Dodson, Olindo Casa, Larry Alt, etc. ATF in Mexico has testified that they were not told of the operation even when there was a massive escalation in guns showing up in Mexico. Canino and Gil both testified to this. Many people are dead because of this felony stupid undertaking. At least 200 Mexicans and 2 American law enforcement officers have been murdered with FnF weapons. These walked weapons have turned up in 11-20 violent crime scenes in the US. They will continue to turn up because about 1400 deliberately walked weapons are still missing. This is a scandal of unprecedented proportions. It was designed and implemented by the Obama Administration. The coverup is unprecedented as well. The justice department is deliberately blocking and undermining the Congressional investigation. Those are the facts.

- TooTuff is absolutely correct ..... all this talk of coverups and special investigations miss the big point. Allowing guns to walk across the border into the drug finks hands is just plainly and obviously wrong. Nobody who came up with the idea, and everybody who helped implement the idea, whether or not under orders to do so, is an honest, loyal American. The presumption in the investigation should be that those who are complicit had criminal intent, and each and every one of these officials and agents should be brought up on charges. Find out who knew and prosecute vigorously.
Now, I've worked for big organizations, and it is exceedingly rare for a project of this magnitude to be entirely undocumented. It took all of a week for law enforcement to identify Osama bin Laden and Timothy McVeigh for what they did. Neither of those clowns had a big bureaucratic paper trail. Get off the pot and start holding those who don't do their investigation jobs complicit. - Reply to this comment

Obama is the best thing that could happen to this country & the GOP are the ones destroying our country. blocking every attempt the president makes to straighten out the mess Bush & his GOP cronies left us with. Bush & Chaney was the worst thing that ever happened to this country. If they were in another country they would be tried for their crimes to the people. The current Congress is the biggest joke ever. they want to tear this country apart to where we are uneducated, moronic, docile slaves for the ultra rich. when are you stupid people going to wake up.

- It seems that there is so much corruption in so many areas that very soon we will see it as normal business. I no longer believe that our government or elected officials care about anyone but themselves and their big fat wallets. The U.S. will be another third world country in 20 years due thanks to the people that have sworn to uphold the law and the principles this country was founded on...if anyone can or cares to remember?

- When claims from the left about most of the weapons turning up with Mexican drug lords were from US gun dealers were proven false - the Obama adminstration decided to flood Mexico with these guns to make it appear true so they could further attack the second amendment. What a Machiavellian idea - unfortunately many have paid with their lives for this twisted agenda.

- All the accusations against Obama is reminding of all the nutcases who were accusing Bush of wrongdoing when he was President. Both sides have an agenda to bring down the President because of political reasons and agendas.
