I am so tired of apathetic americans that truly are one sided and blind to reality..

by CAPTTONY March 7, 2011 10:40 AM EST

Do you think the usa is not corrupt?
Just this article should give a little bit of a clue..
Do you think the problem is all Mexico?
Again please.
You dont see cartells, which are on both sides of border, carying pesos!!
You see them with dollars!
You dont see them buying guns, grenades etc at the mexican guns shops, Why? THERE ARE NONE...
Guns and money and desire demand for drugs come from Good Ol USA, dope goes north to feed the drug addicts.
Its a 50 billion industry and there are many partaking in the money machine driven by "american drugies".
And many of those are the ones on welfare, food stamps, the are cause for crime to support habbits, costing tax payers for rehab, prisons, medical care as well as this escalates to the drive by shootings, injuries to innocent due to roberies burgluries etc etc. Endless cycle that is a bourden on Mexico because the US drug problem.
See how there are two ways to look at things. Dont be so one sided..
Legalize the chit make it to where anyone caught with any amount of dope no matter what goes to prison. Quit farting around and get rid of the drug diseased loosers. Maybe giant labor camps throw em all in there and Now US will not need iligal immigrants to work the fields clean houses etc. USe the dead beats. Would clean up every city in the USA...

Drugs are a commodity, if given away free its value is lost, those that deal in it are out of business...

This is not the first time the ATF has broken the law and caused someone to die. Remember Waco, and Ruby Ridge just to name two. It's passed time that this agency should be shut down and the people involved put in prison. But I think we all know this won't happen because to many in government would go to jail and lose their gun rights.

I do not know of any treaty with Mexico that allows for sales of weapons to private citizens of Mexico.

It is disingenuous of US Law Enforcement Agencies to PRETEND they can break International Laws on Gun Running into Mexico without Mexican Government Officials being advised and consenting to the operation along its borders.

I am SURE the US would not be receptive to sales of MEXICAN armaments to US private citizens, explosives or other FUN things to go BOOM in the American market.

It is not merely a matter of oversight or rationalization....

We have a rogue agency that has conducted operations in violation of several treaties and someone needs to go to jail on the American side of the border...or delivered to Mexico for justice in their system since they are the injured party.

It seems that we have touched a raw nerve...here.. For once the Mexican Government is very interested in and only... GUNS... not DRUGS, BUT guns..?? We may have finally found something (GUNS)that would make move the Mexican authorities off their BUTTS... I see that the amount of guns " walked " through is not large by any means measured... So ... WHAT IF..?? The U S would so called return the favor of Mexico's lax stance on the major drug traffic, and illegal immigration that flows northward into the U S, by "LETTING" the guns walk southward... This does two things that work into our favor... 1.) It lessens the amount of guns on our streets.. 2.) It makes very clear where the cartels ARE operating... with their rising body count... which in turn lessens the size of these waring cartels... I think that we should wear darker glasses on the southbound traffic WALKING these guns through.. but enforce fully everything else.. money smuggling, drugs, and the like... It is when.. and if the Mexican Government does it's larger share of controlling the cartels that ARE IN MEXICO AND DOING OPEN LARGE SCALE DRUG BUSINESS...and for them to curtail the flow of illegals into the U S... and then and only when it shows a noticeable drop in the movement of such...
I was in Cabo fishing a few years back... and we were trolling for tuna well offshore ... and came about a bunch of floating bales (about 20 or so) stretched out over some two miles... In fishing offshore there is nowhere for the smaller fish to hide.. and anything floating becomes a "safe haven" for these smaller fishes... and in turn draw larger ones looking for lunch... So as we got closer to these "bales" there were fish below them... and we did catch a lot of fish... and at the end of the day before going back in... the capt of the boat pulled up to these bales and as it turns out these bales were Marijuana about 50 kilos each... He and the mate cut up the bales and made them so that they would sink or at least get wet... We just watched as the two of them did this... And on the way in the capt told us that they do run into this from time to time... and the reason he does/did what he did... is that the " FEDERALLES" IN CABO ARE CORRUPT... and have ties to the cartels... The capt said that over the last five years he has sunk more than 200+ bales of pot ... So with this witnessed in person and told without asking the questions about the authorities in Mexico and how they deal with things like this... It goes to further confirm that Mexico's law enforcement IS.... directly involved in many facets of the drug and other illegal activities... The locals fear the "FEDERALLES" very much... and are more interested in going out of their way to avoid any contact with them... Our group and I that were down there felt more like possible DINNER OF THE LAND SHARKS... than carefree tourists .... So again... if a few guns make the Mexican Government nervous ... is a good thing... ??

I applaud the whistle blower and hope his superiors are prosecuted, convicted and then fired from their cushy positons. I have heard many schemes that later blow up in the faces of "SO-Called-Smart" government employees trying to gain an advantage at the expense of others. The leadership in the whistleblowers organization infuriates me to no end, and I can't forgive them.

Many don't really stop and think how serious the Mexican war on drugs really is. 35,000 have died in their country. Our wars on drugs don't produce near that level of carnage. If we don't want Mexico to become a failed nation, we have honor our commitments and stop the flow of weapons.

This is not the first time, I have been aware of whistle-blowers. A few years ago, I made friends with a former DEA agent who quit after stopping a drug shipment in the 1980's and being told by his superiors to let it pass.

I think it is time for President Obama to create a whistleblowers commission and protect more whistle-blowers and purge our government of it's corrupted employees. Public trust can't be breached and tolerated on a continuous basis.

New Amendment: Gun Security

Efforts to identify people carrying guns should be a priority for this present administration. All guns inside U.S. borders should have an electronic device:

-That identifies it to its owner;

-That locks the firing mechanism if it is not the owner;

-That sends out to proper authorities its exact position (GPS) when it is taken out of the owner's house;

-That alerts all public and commercial institutions when taken inside.

Gun companies have the technology to provide us with a more secure ways of handling those dangerous weapons but they won't do it unless the people of the United States speak out and demand their right to be protected from guns that are used in an unlawfully manner.

This is not the least bit surprising. Our good ole USofA has become an expert at covert activities. Only "problem" with this story is that a whistle blower bought it to our attention.

Next story, please.
