Napolitano needs to be fired. We've had too many close calls under her watch. She isn't doing her job and probably never should have been given it, since her only qualification was that she was a buddy of the president. What is being done with the person who sold the ticket to this terrorist? What is being done with the staff at the airlines who didn't check the no-fly list? What is being done to force Emirates Airline to cease operation in the U.S. for allowing this to occur? Also, revising the no-fly list to just a two-hour window for updating is still too much time. As soon as new names are added, the lists should immediately be updated. The technology exists to do this. If we can text and tweet, we can update immediately.

Maybe the secretary of homeland security should start doing her job. This lady has lucked out that nothing happened with the underwear guy and now this guy buying tickets with cash/no bags/etc. How incompetent can this person be as she is the top person in this administration to keep our country safe. The president needs to do something instead of making excuses.

At what point are we going to get serious about this? This man was caught by sheer dumb luck...and a vigilant citizen. It had nothing to do with the work of the Feds. I really fear that the Administration does not take this matter seriously. This is not a Republican or Democratic issue...it is an American issue and we have to do better; and quick!!!

Over fashioned police work overcomes the bumbling Feds yet again. The No-Fly list isn't worth the paper it is printed on unless you are a Cub Scout. Bin Laden is probably flying in and out of New York monthly using his real name. I also agree since nothing went boom, this peasant will probably get off with a parking ticket.

Good news is, as I read it, the prosecution will be headed by an Indian American at the US Attorney's office in New York. Let's see the fireworks. Perhaps the Pakistanis in our country will object to his appointment. But Pakistanis have nothing to fear. Our judges will set him free. Did he kill anyone? No. Another misguided person- go back to Pakistan- train a few people- better yet, write a book what failed in the best laid plan- then you are an American.

Even if only for a split second this animal thought he was going to take off, then the security lapse was worth it...I would have loved to have seen his face as they boarded the plane and took him down...I cant even fathom the joy in that agent's heart to have apprehended this coward.

Just another fantastic job done by the feds. Talk about a bunch of clowns! This guy almost got away despite all the money and man-power at their disposal. Perhaps the feds might wanna start ignoring the Obama mandate to concentrate on Tea Party and militia people and go back to tracking the biggest threat to innocent people which is the heavy Muslim population that has foolishly been allowed into our country. The next Muslim piece of garbage that decides to detonate a bomb in a heavily populated area just might succeed..........
