And what's really really funny is that in Obama's original brief trying to get the Writ struck down....his claim was that producing his long form birth certificate and his college records would post a SEVERE embarassment to himself, his family, and the DNC...

The oral arguments on the Writ are now scheduled to be heard either in September or October as soon as Surrick's clerk can get Dumbama to cooperate on a date.

If you think it's okay to force other people to act a certain way because YOUR religion says they should, then you don't understand America--and probably don't understand your religion.

The purpose of the separation of church and state is to keep members of the majority religion from giving their beliefs the weight of law, which, by definition, means an end to the freedom of religion Christians claim to cherish. If laws are made because the Bible says so, then it becomes against the law to NOT be a Christian. I know most religious types aren't rocket scientists, but has this never occured to you?

What if Muslims became the majority, and passed laws saying women can't drive, and must cover themselves from head to toe...how would you feel then? Do you not see that there's no difference between this and forcing people into Christianity by passing laws?
