Well if teachers had guns none of this would have happened. A ban will only stop law abiding citizens from obtaining guns not criminals they have guns illegally anyway.More guns to good citizens makes for a more secure America.Think about it no one that follows laws has guns then criminals that still do have them can rob and kill anyone they want knowing they will not be shot back at.
Keep selling weapons to just anyone, I guess 20 children and 7 adults is not enough. Frustrates me the fact that there are still people defending their rights for carrying a gun after this. How many lives does it take for self centered people (in the name of protection) to realize that if there is a complete disarm, they only way bad people can attack you is with a knife or a baseball bat. So yeah... keep them coming, let see how many more will it take for the people to realize that weapons is not the only way to preserve peace. I am going to go on a limb here, but I would suspect that having unstable teenagers in the home of a potential policy owner, at the very minimum, would require a hefty insurance premium for each gun. This way, the government is not preventing anybody from owning guns, the government is simply requiring that they be properly insured. Gun owners should be required to have insurance for each gun they own. The more powerful the gun, the higher the insurance premium. When a tragedy like this happens, the insurance companies would be required to compensate the victims. This means that it would be up to the insurance companies to determine the risk of insuring each gun. I am going to go on a limb here, but I would suspect that having unstable teenagers in the home of a potential policy owner, at the very minimum, would require a hefty insurance premium for each gun. The high insurance premiums would probably have made it prohibited for this woman to own so many guns. That would have undoubtedly either prevented this tragedy from happening, or at the very least, it would have greatly reduced the number of victims. This way, the government is not preventing anybody from owning guns, the government is simply requiring that they be properly insured. Much the same way, the government requires that each of our vehicles we drive be properly insured. I personally would love to own a few more cars and trucks, but it is always that monthly insurance premium that discourages me from doing that.

4. Parental incompetence.
All signs our society is on the downfall. Guns have nothing to do with it.
