The whole Delphi bailout smells. First of all there is the question of why Treasury seized the non-union pension fund when it was 85% funded. In other like bankruptcies pension funds were not seized that were significantly more underfunded than this one? Also, why were the union workers pensions upgraded? Going back to when when GM spun-off Delphi there were questions as to whether GM shifted GM funds to Delphi in a paper transaction to qualify it with what appeared to be funds to help it reorganize in bankruptcy instead of going into liquidation....that in itself smells. But thin again, this was an Obama Administration that had it's hands in this. Last I heard, the non-union employees who were supposed to be getting $2,500. a month. When the dust settled, they received an average $300. a month.....this all smells.
The deceptiveness of Willard and his ilk with regard to the Delphi non-union employees is monumental but in perfect sync with his ability to self-deceive. Put simply: if GM had gone bankrupt per Romeney's plan the employees would have lost everything, pension, insurance.
