Assuming (though it's probably a poor assumption) that there are ANY Republicans on this thread willing to look at evidence, I heartily recommend Ornstein and Mann's "It's Even Worse Than It Looks" (2012), which makes it quite clear that the party in Washington that's gone stark, staring mad is the Republicans, not the Democrats.

Remember, Bush claimed to be an 'Uniter'? Bush and Romney could work with Democrats when they were Guv,not because they were reasonable or non partisan but Democrats are always willing to compromise to get work done and move forward.
From day one of Obama presidency, Republicans took oath not to cooperate and were planning for his defeat in 2012. Don't blame Obama or Democrats for the logjam in the Congress.

There shouldn't even be such a thing as "bi-partisanship"!

Because we shouldn't be divided in the first place!

This 2 party crap undermines the true USA motto:

United we stand, divided we fall

Which also should have been the motto for the 9/11 recovery, not "Proud to be an American".. While that was a good morale booster, it didn't emphasize Unity.

There is a good reason that George Washington himself and other framers were against allowing political parties...

Romney means "bipartisanship" the way Bush meant it--those Democrats who yield to everything he and the Republicans want will be called "bipartisan."

I really don't understand how people can't see that this guy says anything to get a vote and doesn't intend to follow through on any of it.

If, by chance, you don't agree with his views, wait for a day or two, and they will change.

Have we finally grown up??? Has America come back?

We have a clear choice -- a party that thinks the American voter is smart enough to understand that a government has to compromise to get the best for its citizens and a President who listens to his handlers that all the voters can understand is "binders", "hope", "forward", "Romnesia". And the biggest thrill of all is not just it is working with the electorate, but that places like CBS are actually printing headlines that recognize that their viewers are intelligent and well-informed. And kids, in this last desperate few weeks for the Democrats to eek out a victory with "organizers", voting tricks and hate slogans, even a moment's defection from the solid front of support for their chosen candidate is very important.

The choice is a government that thinks they can go golfing, or on shopping trips while telling you they are working, or one where the lights are on late in the Oval Office with an administrator running an Administration for the American people.

Of course bi-partisanship -- my governor (a Democrat) practices that and the results are stunning! And if we get away from childish slogans, he will be a Presidential Candidate in 2016, giving President Romney a tough run.

GWB played even more golf than Obama.
Remember "Terrorists are bad... now watch this swing!" ?

The truth is that NEITHER party is good for us. Both the dems and the repubs are raging libs. Don't dismiss that - look at it objectively.

The RINOs ran all of us FISCAL conservatives out of the party, so what we're left with is no major fiscally-conservative party, which is what we need to recover and pay off our debt.

The repubs were promising jobs jobs jobs during the midterm elections that won them the House and all we got from them was obstructing the president.

"The German (American) people have no idea how much they must be lied to in order to be led." - Herr Goebbels (- Mitt Romney)

Change with parentheses and gets scary!
Ok NOT Saying Mittens is a Nazi, but it does seem these two share the same philosohy with regards to lying.
