Then again, when the reviled Jean Marie Le Pen ran for president of France on the National Front ticket about a decade ago, he proposed sending immigrants, non-Christians, and people of "questionable" ancestry to what he called "resettlement camps". I understand that you have a strong person belief that a zygote or embryo is a person. However, the law and many of your citizens disagree with you. Do you have a logical, fact-based, non-religious argument for why legal "personhood" should be extended to a zygote moments after conception? Just because something has the potential to become a person doesn't mean that we give it the rights of a person. I have the potential to become president of the United States, but that doesn't mean that I get to live in the White House today.

@REALPATRIOT1776 A zygote is a collection of a few cells. It has no brain, no nervous system, etc. An embryo (up to about 8 weeks after conception) has the beginnings of a nervous system and brain but no complex brain function. An adult with the brain activity equivalent to an embryo at 8 weeks of gestation would be considered brain dead. Of course a zygote or an embryo is made of human cells, but that is meaningless. If you pierce your ear you are cutting out human cells. Do they have rights? Are you murdering them? The difference between a child and an 18 year old is like the difference between a modern high-rise building and a larger and more complex high-rise building. The difference between a zygote and a child is like the difference between the architect's drawings for the building and the building.
Women are NOT "PRO-Abortion", we just want this issue to be OUR CHOICE, not any suit in government!!!! Leave us the hell alone. Maybe government should regulate the male member!
