This is just another example of Republicon Election and voter fraud all across America. Republicons really hate freedom and democracy except for the rich. Republicons know they have to cheat because they represent such a tiny fraction of regular people. Republicons have to cheat to win, otherwise they will end up on the trash heap of history.

Then that means everybody has to show an ID, wether the poll worker knows them or not. I've seen that happen at my polling place.

If the Republican's were sincerely attempting to combat voter ID fraud, and ideologically committed to this make-believe "issue" of theirs, they'd be all over the state of Pennsylvania right now, with TV commercials and personal appearances to combat the changing tide of public opinion. It is becoming increasingly obvious that this whole thing has been nothing more than a political scam by those Republicans hell-bent on stealing this election. But as the article points out, they've all but given up in Pennsylvania.

America should be very grateful to Judge Simpson for his wisdom and common-sense.

The Republican Party is rapidly developing a credibility problem in the worst place possible, among their own constituency. In Florida their shady dealings with a "company" known as Strategic Allied Consulting, under the control of long-time GOP operative Nathan Sproul, has been exposed for submitting falsified voter registration forms with illegible, and incorrect information to Florida officials. They claimed it was by only one employee, but couldn't explain why it was taking place in at least ten other counties. The state of Colorado is experiencing similar problems, and investigations there are ongoing.

How is he a traitor? He is only saying that the ability for those affected to meet the mandatory requirements is not fair prior to this election: "TEMPORARY" injunction. Don't go and start sending death threats to the judges house or anything with the way you are spouting irrational statements.

They will appeal and probably allow the law to pass after the election. Is he only a traitor because he put the rights of 100% of the citizens of Pennsylvania in his decision? You are being irrational if you think "the illegals are coming!". When you spout 'illegals' you probably visualize only Mexicans too.... Did you know the average

I think that Voter ID laws not brought out 'during the elections' would be fair and would give ample time for people to get themselves proper ID. I also feel that registering to vote should be a process of verifying you are a citizen and you have the proper ID to prove it, than when you come to vote only valid citizens are on the registration records. In addition early voting that takes place over a period of weeks or even multiple days gives a fairer opportunity to all registered voters.

Ever hear of a citizen arrest?
Of course, for that you have to be a citizen.

"A judge postponed Pennsylvania's controversial voter identification requirement on Tuesday, ordering the state not to enforce it in this year's presidential election."

Wow. Certain politicians seems bound and determined to win election by hook or by crook. And if the votes come into our country illegally or off old tombstones, so much the better.

Just now in Petersburg Alaska where voting is taking place, some sort of threat has all schools in a lock down condition. Schools are where the voting takes place. Could this be the GOP way of suppressing votes??

No, dummy. It couldn't. Liberals have control of our educational system, its curriculum, assets and infrastructure. Which is the reason kids don't learn, teachers won't teach and high school grads today can't read without moving their lips. Why don't you ask the Dems who locked the schools?

This is a true victory for democracy in America. At least for 2012, the vote in PA will remain intact. However, this was only a battle in the total war on our democracy & Constitutional right to vote. These domestic enemies of our Constitution will continue to make multipronged efforts to suppress the votes of our citizens. They are organized and well funded by corporations & unamerican, unpatriotic wealthy like the Koch Bros. As an officer, I took an oath to defend our Constitution against all enemies, both foreign & domestic. We have defended it for now, but the war contiues.

Agree.. But I am optimisitc that the rational part of the US has finally seen through the GOP propaganda machine that is Fox News (and friends). Few are buying into the Romney-Ryan deceptions as shown in the polls. Where I teach (college), the conservative spin machine is considerd pretty uniformly to be a joke now. The GOP has lost the Hispanic vote, the youth vote, and now the miuddle class vote. Not much left.
