CBS You're a joke. While you will run an infinite number of stories about non-existent Romney "gaffes"...You leap to defend Obama from his own direct quotes. The "fake but accurate" network..wear it proudly.

YOU ARE COMPLETELY CORRECT, bluesdoc70.

We have all heard and read the complete Obama "you didn't build that" speech over and over, and CBS printing some few lines out of the entirety doesn't change the fact that Obama said and meant exactly as Romney has said.

It's not Obama's fault. We know who to blame...

There once was a kid named B.O.,
who wrecked havoc wherever he'd go.
When momma asked why,
he let out a cry,
It's that boy Bush's fault, you know!

Except that the fact-checking sites all called a giant BS on Romney's mischaracterization.

I've been telling my friends that America has changed dramatically over the past 60 years. We've been transformed into a dependency society. Which is exactly what the democrat party and many republican politicians want; it's our dependency on government that gives them the power and control they seek.

Individual liberty is a thing of the past; shame of existing on the government dole is long gone; moral decay and balkanization, created largely by politicians, require more government intrusion to maintain a civil society.

In short, America is well down the socialist road already traveled by many failed or failing European societies.

The republican agenda hasn't changed since the 1930's. Still the holy grail, what they want most is the complete and total destruction of social security. The destruction of medicaid and medicare have also now been added. Though they have finally become smart enough to "pretend" that by destroying it they will save it. It is likely many of them would like to dig FDR up and kill him again if they could. Republicans will continue to be the party of nothing until they are able to let go of this old hatred and move into the 21st century. Sorry R&R some different words but still the same old stale song, didn't work before wont work now.

Do You know FDR thought SS should be temporary. Unions should organize public workers. Johnson extended SS funds to cover medicare which led to the increased costs of the system. And the Dems made the SS funds part of the budget to balance their budgets. And you trust these guys to give us an improved economy? 42 months of 8+% unemployment, a record since 1948; labor participation rate at 63.6%, lowest since 1981; weakest recovery since WWII; 5.5 Trillion in new debt

"America's comeback team"??

What will a couple of Rich punks do in the white house as the "Off-Shorer-In-Chief" and a 14 year Professional Congressional Sand-bagger bring their "experience" to the table?

Call them "Team Wall-Street or Team Gridlock".

And Obama has done what? 42 months of 8+% unemployment, a record since 1948; labor participation rate at 63.6%, lowest since 1981; weakest recovery since WWII; 5.5 Trillion in new debt; attacks on the Constitution with contraceptive rule, Healthcare mandate, appointments when Congress not in recess, not enforcing Federal laws, Holder;s contempt of COngress on Fast and Furious= that's what Hope and Change has brought this country. We can't survive another 4 years of Obama.

Couldn't help but notice that you totally IGNORED the fact that Obama's "Affordable Care Act" rips $800 BILLION from Medicare to pay for itself. That seems to me to be an important FACT that should enter into the discussion. Left alone, Medicare will be totally bankrupt by 2024. I think that's what Ryan's solution it trying to avoid.

CBS when you SLANT your coverage to support Obama's position instead of doing an honest job of reporting then you just aren't doing your job.

Read the article instead of freaking out about CBS and running for the nearest Fox outlet. It is reprinted from the Associated Press.
