******** - I'm tired of the rich, the aristocracy, thinking they know best and should rule the world! B.S. All they know is how to funnel the money towards themselves and to hell with everyone else!

I pay my taxes - I want to vote on each and every issue!

Hey, I don't want anybody to be alarmed, so I'm telling you that I expect Obama to declare martial law. That's what I would do. Qui potest capere capiat.

Our two party system is lead by the extreme point of view by both partys. We have an acting president when we need one to take charge. We need a full congress and senate to debate ideas that are voted on not some kind of super committee. what needs to be done requires a new president so lets just meander with the fool that we elected and just keep him in check . Down in history we will judge that Obama , Reid & Pelosi where out to change our country to one that was socialistic. We will correct our economy and be the leaders once again we just need another 12 months to go by.

The system is broken.

We need to stop voting for "representatives" that can be bought by big money, leaving them NOT representing Us at all!

We need to vote, one person at a time, one issue at time.

Is there anyone within a million miles of Washington who believed this crock of crap committee would do any good? Is there anyone who believes that Congress is ever going to do anything to help middle class America? Is there anyone who believes that there is anyone in Congress who does anything but run for re-election once they are in office?
And don't forget ..... this committee was charged with reducing the growth of spending - not actually reducing current spending or current debt. Is there anyone who believes that there is anyone in Washington who is worth a pinch of ----?
Washington has sucked for 200 years ..... It just got worse in the past 25 years and shows no sign of improving any time soon .....

Direct democracy via computer networking technology; everyone participates. Then the government will be "of The People".

Stop the fear tactics Mortar. I don't believe there's ever been a government where each person got to vote on each issue. Lets be the first!

Let's send it to the supreme court for a passage. We all learned in Gore vs. Bush, that the supreme court can and will make a choice.
============================================================
So, in your myopic view, the unprecedented decision of the (not-so) Supreme Court in 2000 to hand the presidency to Bush, usurping the states rights (as spelled out in the Constitution) to determine the results of their elections.

But now, some of you republiClowns and teabaggers want them to do the same regarding the budget??? PATHETIC!!

It was to be expected. When you have one party (Republican) being held captive by people (Tea Party nut jobs) who do not want to compromise, you can only have failure. My solution is to give the President enough new Democratic congress members to have the actions approved that we so sorely need. The tea partiers are largely big moutheds of low intelligence whi are holding both the Republican office holders/seekers and our Country hostage. Tell me one recognized intelligent person who is a member of the tea party. People, vote Democratic, please, so we can solve some of our problems. Republicans will do anything including sinking our Country to defeat Obama. They have made it abundantly clear that they do not want to do anything that would make him look like he accomplished anything. It is the Republicans that need to be sent packing.

I did not vote for Obama. I will never vote for Obama. In my opinion, the way things are going, the USA has about 25 years to live as we now know it. If Obama is re-elected you can reduce that to 15 years.

If we elect more *corporate Loyalist Republicans* to office, you can reduce that time span!

This smoke screen put up by Obama and the dems in regards to taxing the "rich" is created for the brainwashed followers. The reality of this claim is that if Obama confiscated ALL OF THE RICH PEOPLES money it would not put a dent in the multi-trillion dollar deficit. This policy is nothing more than a strategy of distraction to keep reality from setting in. The reality that we spend more than we take. Spending cuts must be made and tax loopholes should be closed, that doesn't equate to new or increased taxes or vilifying "the rich". Only idiots believe that would make a differance and apparently that presently includes nearly 50% of the country.

It's an issue of *principle* more than practicality. It is high time that the rich take part in tightening belts along with the rest of us. After all, they caused (and continue to cause) this Great Recession.

Did we really believe anything was going to come out of this group. It was a joke to begin with.

We needs cuts around the board and no one wants to do what has to been done. God forbid we give up entitlements.

This country is being destroyed one day at a time and those people we put into the government offices don't really give a damn. That includes the President. He brings us down every chance he gets!! Great going MR. Pres.
