I only wish I had saved the comment by skyk two weeks ago that said almost the same thing.

Of course, now the skyk is back posting flaming liberal propaganda as usual as if it never happened.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Obama is turning out to be ALMOST as bad as Bush!
-------------------------

What do you mean, ALMOST???

Obama is making Bush LOOK GOOD!!!!

Bush kept us safe from terrorist attack on U.S. soil for SEVEN YEARS after 9/11/2001.

What has Obama given us in SIX MONTHS:

ill fated plan to close Gitmo, getting spanked by his own party in Congress
Geithner Daschle Richardson
"Special Olympics" gaffe
"punch drunk" TV interview
Capt Phillips taken hostage
N Korea weapons testing, launched seven missiles in one day on 7/4/2009
NYC "photo op" flight
cancel F-22 program
bow to Saudi king
continuing Bush policies on drones, wiretaps, Gitmo detainees, free trade
GM debacle
Appointed a racist bigot to the Supreme Court
Appointed an obese woman to be Surgeon General

OBAMA = One Big A** Mistake, America!!!

We already have a terrorist investigation unit...how freaking many do we need?

Do we need more now that Obama is funding terrorists all over the planet with US tax dollars?

Well, unfortunately, we've lost 13,000 or more military personnel due to the "don't ask, don't tell" policy. I know of at least two servicemen who are fluent in one or more Arabic dialects who were discharged recently because of their sexual orientation. The Republicans are once again using their terrorist techniques (that appealing "don't ask, don't tell" will endanger unity) to keep the cowardly Democrats in line. As you noted, the best information is obtained by using interrogators who are capable of fluently speaking the language - and it looks like the Republicans don't want that to happen.

During the campaign, the Democrats were all lined up ready to help Obama or Clinton (whoever won) close Gitmo. But between the day Obama signed the order and the day the Senate had to vote on the funding for closing Gitmo, the Republicans managed to use their scaremongering techniques to terrorize the Democrats into refusing to vote for the funding. The Republicans are good at that. They terrorized Americans into going along with a war in Iraq that GW only wanted because Saddam tried to assassinate his (GW's) father. The Republicans managed to terrorize Americans into going along with the T.A.R.P. bailout to put taxpayer money into the hands of failed bankers because their banks were "too big to fail." And then Republicans terrorized the hapless Democrats into refusing to vote for Gitmo closure. The congressional Republicans are thugs, there's no doubt about that, but the congressional Democrats are cowards - and there's no doubt about that, either. Furthermore, they're ALL afraid to lose the money their precious lobbyists give them for re-election, because they've ALL forgotten that this is supposed to be a government BY the people, OF the people, and FOR the people, instead of being a government BY elites, OF elites, and AGAINST the people!

OOOOOOOH, the big bad Republicans "terrorized" your poor dainty dems!!!!!! So, let's see now that you dems have had the majority for over 2 years and now that you have a Chicago thug in the WH what's your excuse for all the actions since 1/20/09???? What are those mean, mean Republicans doing to you poor babies now?
What a crock of excrement you people are!!
Nothing is ever a dems fault or doing, it's always someone else.
For a group who relishes calling conservatives stupid you people sure are "duped" a lot!
Grow a set, get some gonads and man up!! Even if you are a woman posting!

This was a worthless article.

However perhaps there is more to this.

I read an article on how WW2 interogation unit vets stated that they felt that the Bush adminstration tactics of interogation were worthless.

The had stated that they got their best info during WW2 by having people who were capable of speaking fluent the language and it took many many days, weeks, months... to accomplish.

Hopefully this article meant to point out that we are trying to get to that point.

Thats ok, we can all wear our tinfoil caps so they cant read out minds. Dr Woods told me so. She used a form of symbolic language that only we can read. That way the enemy cant intercept our messages. But if you ever read her reports you have to wear your tinfoil caps so they cant read your thoughts. They are everywhere.
