This political-cover-for-Pelosi distraction is simply more proof that the Democrats are incompetent fools, and have no business being any part of National Security.

There was no need to inform anyone of a program that was never implemented. The program was considered and dropped.

Regardless, Cheney never had the authority to tell the CIA not to inform Congress, so it really doesn't matter if he did or didn't.

I think the details here arent as important as the overall viewpoint of the republicans that the executive branch is some kind of monarchy.. Thats the issue here..

Yes and that is EXACTLY why the law was written. The President is NOT supposed to be acting in secret of the Congress.. the President is NOT suppose to tell the CIA not to tell Congress what it is doing... I guess the only real question to ask is WHO was the real President... obviously it wasn't Bush!

Your opinion of congress has just what to do with the LAW Mortarman. Now IF, and that is a BIG if, you can operate your search engine, pull up the Law and tell me where Cheney is NOT in violation of the law. We need a Special Counsel here to find out just WHAT this Criminal was doing and why he was doing it. He was FAR outside the Constitution on what a VP is supposed to do.
