Stupid people in this country ruined our economy and our sense of honor and integrity--now we torture, start unprovoked wars, spy on avg citizens and our leaders need immunity from war crimes--as if all that was not enough, the ignorant among us now would like to finish were they left off--since Bush was out, they's like to complete the self destruction of America by turning it over to the C student, 6 college, illiterate, ignorant, hypocritical, vindictive, ethically challenged, secessionist sympathizing, double standard toting bimbo, whose claim to fame is that despite being amazingly stupid, the Bush sheeple are proving that they can be even more blind and stupid than they were when they elected Bush by liking and trying to promote this joke of a politician.

Your party likes to torture, start illegal wars and get a bunch of Americans and people from other countries killed--and deregulate businesses so they can go hog wild. Shut up. The only thing you can say about Obama is that he one time said there were 57 states--where shall we start with Palin? That she thought Africa was a country? Or that when Obama said there were 57 states, Palin tried to write that down and remember it, because she thought it was the truth?

It would be easier to find what Palin said that made sense than what was ignorant and harebrained, the woman is such a ditz.

Too bad you appear to not understand what the comment means. Anyone with sense is scared of Palin being elected--not because the avg intelligent person would elect her, but we wonder how many idiots are out there--obviously quite a few since Bush was elected twice--in case you fail to notice--even Independents and many Republicans are scared--not because Palin is effective but because she is ignorant and it just may be that those like her may find a way to get her in office which would probably be the end of our country as she is beyond stupid.

why are so many of you so nasty to each other. When will all of you realize we are all in this grand experiment together. Obama won the election fair and square, so get over it. There is no point in finger pointing and gloating, we still have a lot of problems that affect us all. Those of you who speak of the real america obviously have not learned the simple truth that republicans fell from grace because of their antiquated views and misguided policies. The other side have also been guilty of this in the recent past, no one is exempt from making these kind of mistakes when power goes unchecked. We can agree to simply disagree, we do not need to make childish attacks on someone who disagrees with us, we need to agree to disagree. We also do not need vulgarity to be our response it shows lack of intellegence and needless disrespect.

Yet she's already reminding audiences of her bipartisan and family-oriented appeal.

"People are so tired of the partisan stuff even my own son is not a Republican," Palin said.

Like his father, 20-year-old Track Palin is registered as "nonpartisan" in Alaska, she said. "

Things to clarify:

1. Palin has NO bipartisan appeal--looks like she is trying to position herself to take advantage of the appeal of the Dems since her own party is about as popular as Nazism these days.

2. Her son does not identify with the REpublican party? Not surprising, the level of racism, and blind loyalty are really vestiges of another generation, besides, if he goes anywhere claiming he is a REpublican, he is liable to either be ostracized or beat up. (Except if he goes to one of those on campus geekville clubs for up and coming con men)

3. Todd is a secessionist. that is sort of nonpartisan--in that it borders on treason and as Vogler said--it affords a hatred so glacial and cold for the US that the fires of hell cannot faze the hatred...Vogler for the clueless was the founder of the Alaska Independent Party, the party Todd not only belonged to but for year contributed to and attended their meetings--even Palin found time for them.

Good luck in cleaning that up if you decide to run, Sarah--because it and your Katie Couric interviews will be ready and waiting to be reposted for viewing over and over again, should you dare to be stupid enough to run--great thing about video tape --like a diamond baby...it's forever...just ask Hilary Clinton about her fresh retakes of the sniper fire in Bosnia. Ready when you are, Sarah--played prior to you speaking, and right after your "witty soundbites" until people see you for the joke you always will be.

"
The self-described hockey mom plans to write a memoir but declined to discuss any potential deal for her to become a television commentator. "

Can we say Ghostwriter? Palin cannot construct a decent sentence without butchering it. Indeed, her entire thought process is suspect...if we are to credit Ms. Airhead for thinking at all. What she is good at doing is playing up to an audience, that, a pole and a reasonably dark room could make her some good money.

"Oh, I don't think she quit," said Sen. John McCain, the Republican presidential nominee in 2008 who plucked Palin out of near-obscurity and made her a household name. "I think she changed her priorities."

so if i get fired, it's not that i've lost my job, but just that my employer changed my priorities for me?

Now we can really see the libs coming out of the woodwork to practice their hate and exhibit what low class is all about.
What's funny is they think their true color is what America is all about.
Maybe they should spend some time helping their dear leader finding his 57 states, or 56, 55, 54.........instead of paying all their attention to Palin. Some even denied wasting their time on her a few dozen times....LOL
We know barrack is not a quitter. What's he up to? 2 packs a day?
And thanks the libs for deciding Russ Limbaugh is my leader. Didn't know I needed one until the libs told me. All this time, I thought it was OK to think for myself.

She knows what she's going to do! She's going to make a living being a political banquet speaker! How nice!

And, she's even willing to come and 'put the kiss of death'---er, help out,any Democrats who want to enlist her aid! How sweet!

I'm really curious IF there is any Democrat silly enough to 'take her up on this offer'?! What Democrat wants to be endorsed by this 'air-head'--- that's got to be a politician in REAL trouble!?

Let me get this stright Ricard Nixion did not leave the white houe he just change his priorties? I don't think so.

"Palin: I'm Not Leaving Politics". She is basically rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Palin basically trash her chances for high office and she is not swift enought to realize that her political career is now history.

Do you honesty believe she would have been placed on the GOP's ticket as vice-presidential nominee, if she WASN'T part of the existing ruling class of politicians?! Think about it!

SHE knows who she's working for, even if you don't! No offense intended!

Geoffrey Dunn, 07.03.2009

Award-winning journalist, filmmaker and historian

Some pundits have said that Palin's Resignation is out of character.

Hardly.

Don't forget that she Resigned from her last Statewide Office.

Sarah Palin is a [Quitter]

More to come on Palin's Erratic & Un-Predictable Political Patterns.

----------------------------------

Anyone who is in any way surprised by Sarah Palin's announcement today that she will not be seeking re-election, and, even more significantly, is stepping down as Governor of Alaska, has not been paying close attention. The signs have been everywhere.

Palin has absolutely zero interest in running the State of Alaska.

She steadfastly refused to live in Juneau after her first year there, had the gall to charge the state for residing at her home in Wasilla 600 miles away, and she basically mailed in her performance as the state's top administrator during Alaska's most recent legislative session. She has alienated virtually all the key legislators in her own party -- that's right, Republicans -- and had failed to move any key legislation forward since her return to Alaska from the national campaign trail last November.

In fact, her bizarre appointment for Attorney General, Wayne Anthony Ross, was rejected nearly unanimously by the state legislature -- a first in Alaskan history. Even in respect to energy policy, her supposed bailiwick, she has been categorically ineffective.

When I asked those in-the-know what role Palin had played in putting together the recent pipeline deal between TransCanada and Exxon, their response was simple: "None."

None.

That about sums up Palin's accomplishments as Governor of the Last Frontier.

Some pundits have said that Palin's resignation is out of character. Hardly. ...

Don't forget that she [Resigned-Quit] her last statewide office -- that as Chair of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.

Sarah Palin is a [Quitter].

She fancies herself something else. But, in the end, she [Quit] her position at AOGCC and she has now [Quit] her Governorship.

That's Two-For-Two at the Statewide Level.

In Wasilla, there was nearly a recall launched against her as Mayor.

Trouble and Turbulence have followed her [EVERYWHERE]
