Palin is as inarticulate as Bush and about as dumb. My favorite quotes from her speech:

"We took government out of the dairy business and put it back into private-sector hands - where it should be." Exactly what Republicans believe: get government out of government and give it all to the private sector, who will look out for your best interests, no doubt.

"it may be tempting and more comfortable to just keep your head down, plod along, and appease those who demand: "Sit down and shut up", but that's the worthless, easy path; that's a quitter's way out." And then she quits!!!

This is what is wrong with America. Our politicians actually expect us to believe what is coming out of their mouths OVER their actions. The woman quits her job, yet HALF the country believes her when she says 'I am not a quitter'.

Made them look foolish huh LMAO I don't see any lawsuits. She just brought the allegations to the forefront and put it into the news. I guess she wanted her name associated in the same sentence as scandal.

Her detractors do not come from the gutter, they just use her words and deeds against her.

Not sure how many times you feel you need to post this comment, afloatinasea; however, Mr. Clinton was impeached (but didn't quit) for perjury regarding this particular "scandal" back in 1998.

Actually, everyone will be better off if she just retires with her trailer-trash family and keeps her head down instead of making increasingly stupid public statements. Somehow, I don't think she will be smart enough to do that. Even worse, there will be neo-cons stupid enough to support her. But then, I guess "neo-con" and "stupid" is a redundancy.
