And what, we expect any more from Democrats?

Pleeeease...

The whole Democrat talking point is that we EXPECT Democrats to be sleazy drooling lechers, so they're not being hypocrites when they have some tawdry affair.

Now she has shown her true leadership skills. Abondon ship before it sinks! Governor, women and children first, in that order.

Seriously, what kind of example of leadership is this?
Boo hoo, the going is too tough for me, I can't take another year of criticism for my being a most lousy governor so instead of leaving office as a failure, I'll leave office as a quitter.

Que sarah sarah

You Democrats are positively fascinated with this woman.

You all flock to a story about her, but nobody is commenting on the story of the hospital technician who infected patients with Hepatitis C by stealing needles and replacing them with dirty ones to be used in operating rooms.

And the dirty needles were contaminated with Hep C. Now half a dozen patients have an incurable debilitating disease because the hospital had a druggie on the staff.

But ya, babble on about something REALLY important like Sarah Palin.

You all flock to a story about her...."

I hope you age well over the next few years Sarah. Good luck in 2012 if for nothing else than the fact that I have a truckload of 'My VP Is HOT!' bumper stickers gathering dust. If the political winds should shift, I'm going to need some advice on how to paste a longer job title within the space alloted to 'VP.' OR, I could try to pawn the bumper stickers off to Syria-- except their VP ain't hot. Curses! Foiled again!

It is SOOO laughable that this news item has the most comments - mostly from Democrats who are desperate to avoid having to talk about what an utter failure Obama is.

LOL! Oh, look, they're bringing up Palin's affair. Oh, as if a Democrat never cheated on his spouse. Like that toe-tappin' Clinton...

Let's see, the logic goes something like this. Republicans are hypocrites if they do it, because they have high moral standards. But it's OK if a Democrat does the same thing, because they have no standards so that means they're not hypocrites when they lie, cheat, steal, drown, and condemn Republicans for being immoral and then turning out to be even more immoral.

But that amounts to having different rules for different people, which is also a form of hypocrisy.

So the ones who accuse the Republicans of hypocrisy are actually hypocrites.

But it sure beats having to defend Obama.

by darthcheney345 July 4, 2009 12:57 AM EDT
That's the whole point. It DOESN'T make sense.

Democrats rarely do.
by Lawyers-Guns-n-Money July 4, 2009 1:03 AM EDT
So you're a latent Democrat or do you just pay lip service to that morality schtick?
by darthcheney345 July 4, 2009 1:06 AM EDT
Different rules for different people is not morality.

It's hypocrisy.
by Lawyers-Guns-n-Money July 4, 2009 1:22 AM EDT
Yeah, so defending someone who stands up and berates others for committing immoral acts and then not stepping aside when they do the same is not hypocritical? Man, I need to update my dictionary AND my thesaurus.
by darthcheney345 July 4, 2009 1:35 AM EDT
defending someone who stands up and berates others for committing immoral acts ...
-----------
You mean, like the Democrats do every time a Republican gets caught doing the same thing Democrats do all the time???

Sounds like you're trying to punish the person who expresses high moral standards, but give a free pass to the sleazy drooling lecher Democrat...

The rest of your post didn't make any sense.
by Lawyers-Guns-n-Money July 4, 2009 1:50 AM EDT
I'll forgive you for your lack of comprehension but really, someone who EXPRESSES high moral standards? Are you getting the gist and relevance of this hypocrisy word you keep bandying about?
by darthcheney345 July 4, 2009 1:55 AM EDT
I'll forgive you for your lack of comprehension

I'll forgive you for your lack of comprehension, too.

But the rest of that post didn't make ANY sense.

LOL!

I'll put this into context since you so obviously are unaware. Once upon a time, there was this guy named Slick Willy who got his willy waxed (we all know the story). But then there were self righteous twits who deemed him not fit for office and were the most vociferous critics of his behavior. Those same twits ended up being ensnared in their own webs of deceitful philandering and somehow find it in their own hearts to forgive themselves. Hypocrisy anyone?

Oh and LOLouder!

Yes, yes, please tell us more about Sarah Palin.

ANYTHING to divert attention from what an utter failure Obama is.

Obama would LOVE to spend the rest of his single term in office campaigning against Sarah Palin.

It would save him from any more public embarassments. Because he wouldn't have to do anything anymore.
