The reality is, if they try to run with Palin it will effectively end the republican party. It would be such a lopsided and disastrous loss the party could never recover. Still, the aggregate IQ of the republican party just might be low enough for this to happen. It has dropped considerably in recent months as millions have experienced their epiphany and disassociated themselves from the GOP. Only the lessor of the least remain.

Yes, for modern-day 21st century politics, Obama certainly won in a landslide in 2008, winning by 10 million votes and over a 2 to 1 electoral college landslide, in a very divided country.
Seems as if the 'history-revisionist' republiCONS are the ones totally math, science and economically-challenged, since their 'trickle-down' economic lunacy over the past 30 years has been only DEFICIT SPENDING, yet they seem to act as 'born again' fiscal CONServitards!
As NASA/NOAA records indicate a warming planet Earth, with the warmest 10 years since 1997, these science-challenged republiCON DENIALISTS continue to push idiotic Exxon/Mobil propaganda of a 'cooling' planet as the Arctic melts faster and the oceans rise. What morons.
Their mathematics is worse yet, since our government already controls about 50% of our health care in 2009, and as the 80 million baby boomers retire over the next 2 decades, we will be moving into a majority of government-run health care and bankruptcy if we do not have immediate health care reform now! The doubling of the national debt over the past 8 years of bushworld to $11 Trillion, will pale in comparison to the $50 Trillion in unfunded future liabilities of America -- mostly due to Medicare and Social Security -- two trust funds that have been raided by all presidents and congresscritters of both stripes since 1968 to pay for WARS and the military/industrial complex.

I think it was an ELECTORAL Land Slide and the PROOF is obvious that the AMERICAN People wanted a change in course. When you look across this nation at the HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of Republican's that are NOW in the Democrat Party, when you look at the Condition of the Republican Party in State after State you realize the MASSIVE scope of that Landslide. The Republican Party that we once knew is no more. What is left is a bunch of aging Old Men bitter at the world, a bunch of Hard Headed UNEDUCATED Red Necks who can't accept Change and a bunch of Bigots who can't accept the fact that we have a African American as President. They make up about 25% of us! The rest LIKE this man we have elected... think he's always right, NO! But when we criticizes it isn't because we want him to fail...it's because we want him to succeed. I do, but see when the democrats say things like McCain said the economy was stable and Bush said it was ok, and then they complain, they usually forget to add Chris Dodd. John McCain said our economy was fundamentally stable. As a Presidential candidate that was wrong. Christopher Dodd said the banks were financially sound and in no danger of failing. This man was the Banking and Finance Chair. Why did he not try to stop this when he took the position in 2007?
I am trying to show those who just complain about one party the fault of the other. Are the republicans perfect, nope. BOTH parties failed this country.
