Different face, same ideology, clothes from Nieman Marcus. That's what the GOP thinks change you can believe in is.

In his concession speech after losing the election last year, John McCain showed a great deal of class and dignity.

None of it rubbed off on Sarah, whining about being picked on. The only thing missing was the crying.

Sarah Palin runs the risk of looking like a quitter when the going gets tough by resigning her job as Governor before her term ends. It only makes you wonder would Sarah Palin also resign and quit if elected President when the going got tough in that office as well. Quitting and quitters are only one thing, bad. Sarah Palin should have finished out her elected term, Alaskans would not have voted her into office if they knew she would quit 18 months early.

This is a real blow to the GOP. Yesterday's speech made it clear that Palin is neither emotionally nor intellectually capable of serving in a major office. Even Ed Rollins understood that. Palin was the only different face in the GOP. All that leaves is old, generally southern, white men--Rush, Newt, Lindsey, Boehner, Shelby, McCain, Sessions, and a few middle-range white governors. Steele was selected because he will never run for office. Among the major GOP leaders and candidates, she was the only different face in the whole group.

The Tonya Harding of GOP Politics
she will pop up from time to time not to worry,
im sure she will stage plenty of exposure with the pitchforked hill folk and Faux news will carry her along free of charge.

In her rambling nonsensical speech she compared herself to a dead fish, a wounded soldier in Kosovo and appeared flaky as a person who believes her own random thoughts that transport her not to political gain but to more speculation that she will fail because she is a flake. If it wasn?t any more obvious then, it is now clear that Sarah Palin is dysfunctional as a politican.
Yes this was classic Sarah Palin as convoluted, unclear ramblings of a woman who is out of her league and the princess principal of achieving a position for which you are totally unqualified and inexperienced to maintain in the future.

If she thinks Alaska was was inhospitable, she'd NEVER make it in DC - the center of partisan hate and lies. Can't stand the heat - get out of politics.

As long as she was getting her Fox spots she was all happy about being the focus of the "superficial, wasteful, political blood sport." She lost, so like all the GOP sore losers that blew it all on "The dice thrower" - they blame it on the big, bad media - the same media that put Bush in power and have the most heavily privately funded "News agency" on TV - The Fox Hate Station. Her problem was that she was inane, bumbling, ignorant, and self-absorbed - the media only takes what the celebrity (politician) gives it.

"I cannot stand here as your governor and allow the millions of dollars and all that time go to waste just so I can hold the title of governor. I don't know if my children are going to allow it anyway." This is a typical Palinanity - made no sense!

Full court press? Palin & Co., find an analogy that works - these are the words of another Bush! Just another Palinanity!

I think Palin resigned early so that her Lt. Gov. would be sworn in as Gov. automatically. He has the same christian based principles she represents. This will give him a much better chance of winning in the next Gov.s race in Alaska. She wants to leave Alaska in good hands.Very wise on her part.

Great. Another religious dingbat that's going to try and run an American state like the Christian Taliban that Palin was.

Isn't that just lovely.

And religion NEEDS to stay out of our Government. Christian or otherwise.
by xlib July 4, 2009 11:16 AM EDT
And invoking certainly insults your liberal sensitivities. How dare she have the AUDACITY to invoke God.
Hey, perhaps she was invoking your messiah! Yea, that's it. Haven't members of your media state they thought THE ONE was GODLIKE??
All this speculation, all the time spent on conjecture. Doing that you libs have missed a chance to go to the michael jackson memorial.
Whatta shame.

Palin has stated in so few words that she is saving Alaskans money by leaving office. What scandal and millions of dollars in court fees is she trying to dodge.

Sarah Palin is a quitter, and again shows a trait NO ONE WOULD WANT IN A LEADER.

RETREAT!
Que Sarah Sarah

Let's face it. If McCain hadn't plucked her out of obscurity, we would never have heard of her, because she doesn't have the chops to make it on her own.

That's why she is so desperately doing EVERYTHING and ANYTHING she can to keep her name in the headlines: like the fake outrage over Letterman's jokes, the trips to cities like Auburn, NY that have NOTHING to do with her job as governor, sending her daughter out on an "abstinence tour" too make a fool of herself with a child on her hip, etc, etc, etc.

She won't even be a serious consideration after the Iowa caucuses in January 2012, and she'll probably drop out before New Hampshire.
