Senior Obama Economic Adviser Says No 2nd Stimulus Yet, Urges Patience In Face Of Mounting Skepticism
- I kind of believe that there is nothing wrong with American capitalism that can not be fixed. A good managed economy that reins in excesses will work just fine, but you have to work at it and not let it buy you off.

- You are an expert on such matters? Didn't you support the Confederate Party when they were in charge? Weren't you one of those who supported the Confederate Party when they trashed the Clinton Economic Plan, with it's surplus and Balanced Budget, in favor of Trickle Down? ROFLMAO I'd say you are NOT someone I or anyone else should be listening to on this matter.

- Exactly how is that? Can you tell anyone on here just ONE MONTH when the Republican LIE has actually worked? LOL Now lets all repeat the Republican Lie, we've heard it so much and for so long we should all know it by now. "We'll cut taxes to the Rich and that will trickle down to you workers". "We will cut spending to offset the MASSIVE debt created by the Tax Cuts for the Rich and thus balance the budget"! Now tell us how many times the Confederate Party has ACTUALLY done what they said... no excuses or blame now. In fact that bunch of LOSERS couldn't keep a budget balanced if we GAVE them one... with a SURPLUS already!! LOL WE KNOW THIS!! Now I ask you WHO needs to wake up here? LOL We dug ourselves out ONCE only to fall for the same stupid LIE, let's not do it again.

- Yep... I don't know how the square THAT insanity with the New Deal, the Square Deal or the New Frontier, all of which were DEMAND Side Economic Plans. We rode those plans to become the Greatest Economic Power on the Planet. All Trickle Down has given us, EVER, has been Red Ink, lower standards of living and a Depression... BOTH TIMES!!

- The LAST people on this PLANET we should be listening to here are those who drove us INTO the ditch!! Those who have NEVER not even ONCE, not even for ONE MONTH, have been able to operate our Government in the Black. Anyone stupid enough to listen to people like that are either dumb from the neck up Red Necks or the very Wealthy who could care LESS about our standard of living.

Well America is broke too, so maybe you should lose your benefits too, instead of relying on WORKING PEOPLE, such as myself, to support the socialization of your outrageously over generous medical benefits.
Just amazing. After dedicating over 20 years of my life to service to this country you would have no problem making me give up the benefits I earned and still you would willingly pay for health care for those who make no effort in life and I am not talking about those who have been laid off, they will find other jobs eventually and I would have no problem with a temporary system for them but not the lazy and useless. - Reply to this comment

Hungry you are missing their point and they make it so well. As long as it is them on the receiving end it is their "right". The rest of the country does not have those "rights" and when anyone tries to see that everyone is treated fairly those whose "rights" are being questioned go on the offensive. This is and has always been about and between the haves and have nots and how dare we try to help the have nots.
You are missing the point. There is a sector of the population that feels it is their right to be "given" what they want or need whether it be health care, food, housing.... They feel no need to earn anything. And there is a sector of the population that encourages this behavior. - Reply to this comment
