YOu have insurance and you are complaining about health care. 16,000 people die because they do not get health care. You should be happy you have some health care

I am dying and the doctors keep sending me to other doctor's that I cannot afford now, so how does Obama expect us the dying and disabled to afford to pay what he wants as to what we we pay now? I say at least leave things alone, they are trying to some what work now. But will kill a bunch if he does change it. And he wants all to have health insurance, yea right. If he gets his way a bunch will be without it. The few that stayed behind are the corrupt ones that cared only about the money. I don't think I would like to have a doctor that only cared about the money.

I agree with this. I would rather had a doctor that cared about my ailment(s) than he/she does about his or her bottom line.

In your country there is so much corruption and greed that you don't even know what they should be paid.

And the doctors can't do their jobs properly because the insurance companies won't let them. So in other words, they aren't doing the job they are supposed to. If the insurance company doesn't want to pay for a test or whatever, then it doesn't get done. The patient is suffering from lack of care. So if no one is doing their jobs properly, WHY should they be getting paid enormous amounts of money?

The doctors here are being paid what they should be getting paid. Years ago, some left here to go to the U.S. They thought they could make more money. But most returned, because they realized that although they were making more money, they couldn't do what was right for their patients. They didn't like seeing their patients suffer and not being able to help them. They didn't like being OWNED by the insurance companies. The few that stayed behind are the corrupt ones that cared only about the money. I don't think I would like to have a doctor that only cared about the money.

Yeah, it's going to be something to see, those doctors taking a pay cut. They are so used to getting ridiculous amounts of money for what they do. Which of course isn't anywhere near what they should be doing. And now they will have to start doing their jobs properly. I don't know if they will remember how.

You have a warped and twisted impression of our healthcare and our doctors.....if you knew what the education costs and the malpractice insurance costs are, they are not making that much money.....not like a movie star or ball player.
