President To Take His Case For Reform To American Medical Association
- The state requires liability and in some cases uninsured motorist coverage. Anything else is, like I said before, a requirement of your finance company and good sense. Once your car is paid off you can drop your coverage to liability.

Agreed. But what i am talking about is all those little clauses in your contract, those are straight from the insurance commission or state legislation.
That was the what McCain's health care plan was. Allowing people to buy coverage in another state to bypass what your own state requires - Reply to this comment
- You sure do jump to conclusions quick don't you? Rather than ask where I get my insurance that inexpensivley you accuse me of lying. If you are married i hope for your wifes sake you are not that quick on the trigger in other aspects of your life.

- Ask your employer what he's paying for your health insurance, and wrap your mind around the fact that it's money he's not paying you.

My employer doesn't pay my insurance. As a matter of fact I opt out of my companies medical coverage and they put an extra $25 in my check every two weeks. That's more than I get from Obamas tax cut. - Reply to this comment
- Bottom line: Health care should not depend on whether you're working, whether your employer gives it to you, and what kind of coverage he/she decides for you. You should not have to lose coverage and risk financial disaster should you get laid off or change career, want to retire early, go back to school, or get so sick where you have to quit working.
Employer-based health care is a stupid, stupid system. - Reply to this comment
- Are you naive enough to believe that the mandatory insurance in a contract between you and the insurance company. The state requirements write most terms of your insurance policy

Well then that is because your employer is paying it?
People don't pay here, either, if the employer covers it.
It's either that or you are an illegal? : ) - Reply to this comment

- Someone on hear said they pay $400 a month for health care. Here, a single person pays $50 a month. And even with the added taxes, we don't come anywhere near that. Basically, that $400 a month would pay for 8 people here. You're being ripped off!

And that would be $50 a month paying it on his own. Through an employer it would be even cheaper. - Reply to this comment
