Tell us what he did? He did not borrow all this money and not pay back the banks. Then people saw better bargains and had their homes foreclosed and move into a home for better financing.

Reagan emptied out all the nuthouses in the 80's and dumped them on the streets... we now know where they all ended up. After reading some of the incredibly insane posts from the Reich wingers here I can't help but consider that these people are a danger to our republic and should dealt with gently but firmly as soon as possible. I believe in freedom of speech, but I consider their constant lies, twisted logic and hysterical commentators as enslaving the minds of the deliberately misinformed for nefarious motives. They're paid, multimillionaire shills selling their souls for a few pieces of silver. So... who pays them? Follow the money... as always.

George Bush and the Party of De-Regulation took over a Nation that had not been attacked in almost 8 years, had a balanced budget AND a Surplus. That's all that needs to be said.

I seem to remember a wedding at a ranch in texas bought and paid by the american tax payers, yet nobody said a word. Yet the riot gear is aimed and ready because the Obamas take a night out. I would imagine this night is costing much less than the wedding where guests were flown in at our expense. So SHUSH.

For 8 YRS, Bush went to bed EVERY NIGHT at 8; never entertained in the WH --and never (tried to) reach across the aisle to those w/differing opinions. OBAMA HAS DONE MORE IN 100+DAYS than Bush did in 8-YRS.
We (finally) have a president who speaks the TRUTH, is OF THE PEOPLE and brings HOPE and enlightenment instead of FEAR and HATE-mongering.
OBAMA is more connected to the people of this country --and the world than either Bush could ever hope to be.
In going out to public places, the Obamas are stimulating the economy and setting an example --regardless the minimal expense to taxpayers -- we FINALLY have a president to be PROUD of in every aspect.

Trying to justify the eight year lame duck that ceded control to Cheney and appointed lobbyists for the purpose of dismantling the entire regulatory infrastructure of the country that produced this disaster -- You have a major challenge --

Bush almost had a daily shuttle to Crawford or Camp David. Almost a 1000 nights away from the White House on "working vacations". Obama takes his wife to NYC and you think we were bombed by terrorists by the way the RNC plays it. What a pathetic joke they are. I'm embarrassed I ever voted for any of them.

I'm sorry, but the Republican National Committee is complaining? OMG, where were they when Bush was on vacation for more than half of his two terms? More than half the nations troubles started and got worse during the Bush years, yet not a single word from the RNC was ever spoken about it. We were and still are in two wars thanks to Bush, yet Bush was allowed to take time off for a month or more on a regular basis. What BUSHIT from the RNC.

Still complaining about the wrong administration again -- Bush UNFREEZES $25 MILLION dollars of North Korean assets used to perfect their initial Nuke that fizzled and redesign failing missiles and you blame Obama. You are truly BLIND to the truth of this REALITY.

Gee, thanks for spilling the beans and letting the whole country know where the first couple is hanging out tonight. Hopefully there isn't a sleeper cell waiting to find them.

It seems no matter what Obama does, conservatives find fault. Obama can't order a burger without being criticized for liking "spicy mustard." It's not hard to imagine what criticism a trip to NYC for an evening out with his wife will generate.

I see. It was OK for the taxpayers to fly George W. and his entourage back and forth to the Texas ranch a hundred times, but Obama can't fly once to NYC for a night out.

If they want to go to New York for date night, they should pay for it themselves. Why should we pay for their entertainment when some families are worried about having enough money just to feed their children. Being young is no excuse for being stupid. Maybe he's too young to be the President.

yes but most husband can't jet their wives to New York for a supper out and a broadway show at taxpayer's expense of course. And if Obama was paying for the bill, he wouldn't be doing it either. Oh well, I'll be attending a tea party protest on July 4th. At my expense, of course. I hope many Americans join me at a protest. We need to turn out millions of these people at these July 4th protest to show Obama and our corrupt government we mean business.

This trip was a waste of taxpayers money. Obamarama should pay for it themselves!!! Both are a joke, and are disdainful. Do they forget who they both owe, us, the taxpayers!!!

Most of the country are having fiscal problems, unemployment, homelessness, these two take a jet to NYC and go to a show. What a slap in the face for Americans, especially those dumb enough to have voted these two mules into our White House!!!
