Think about it...really. There is no shame in admitting that you desperately need some psychiatric help in this day and age - half of the people in this country have a therapist or a shrink these days. It's no big deal.

"Ta! Ta! Next time you decide to post, you might need to read some history before you mouth off....

FACTS produce a much better post than the propaganda spewed by the Dumbama America Sucks Campaign."

I normally have my facts and history down just fine, thanks. I'm just a bit tired, as I said.

Just FYI though, "debating" is not normally the same thing as "mouthing off". Not amongst intelligent people anyway.

And you really shouldn't automatically label any and all views that aren't identical to your own as "propaganda" when absolutely nothing that comes out of your own mouth is anything *but* pure 100% propaganda. Lol! You're a veritable Rush Limbaugh parrot! That's just so childishly hypocritical, don't you think?

I actually feel very sorry for you, after reading your many, many posts here, even though I don't even know you. Sincerely.

You're obviously fairly bright, but then you're also an incredibly hateful hater, aren't you? I've met some pretty messed up people in my time, but the obvious depth of your angst seems to put all the other haters I've met to shame. That's pretty darned scary, to say the least.

Seriously, have you ever tried to get some kind of help? You really, really should, you know. No kidding. You don't have to be so crushingly unhappy and cynical and bitter with the whole world in general. You don't.

Think about it...really. There is no shame in admitting that you desperately need some psychiatric help in this day and age - half of the people in this country have a therapist or a shrink these days. It's no big deal.

Cheney and Gingrich are trying to change the motto of the USA from "e pluribus unum" (one for all) to "sempre timeo" (always be afraid). These fear mongers are the worst form of politicians.

Do you ever read anything?

LOL! Geeeezzz...my bad. <- that's me laughing at ME, not you, no kidding>

I've been busily slaving away on a little project for the past 18 hours, and commenting on this thread occasionally for maybe the past 10 or 12 hours or so, and as you discovered, I'm definitely getting a little wonky finally, as a result.

Excuses aside, you got me there! My apologies for my own stupidity. Apparently only one brain cell was actually firing when I wrote that, lol.

If you read any of my posts from prior to this mornings latest, you already know that I'm not a Obama apologist - I'm really not - I generally distrust ALL politicians *equally* these days. But you pure-blood neocons on this board sure do make it hard not to want to take a poke at you -- you're all just so incredibly juvenile and arrogant - it's really rather disgusting, if I may say so.

I think you'd probably get more traction, and less friction, if you behaved like decent, at least semi-respectful debaters, rather than just raving, foaming at the mouth loonies. No wonder your side lost the last election, with insufferable attitudes like that.

Anyway, this embarrassing error on my part indicates to me in a very conclusive way that it's time for me to take a nice, well-deserved break.

It is Memorial Day weekend, after all, and I'm a very tired old ex-soldier who's already lost far too many close friends over the past couple of years due solely to one incredibly stupid, unbelievably arrogant and reckless Republican ex-president (and those that supported him - you are all equally to blame so far as I'm concerned) so it's probably not the best time to be "debating" with his adoring fans right now anyway. I should know better.

I'm just not feeling particularly impartial of forgiving right now, I guess. Tomorrow I have war widows and fatherless kids to try to comfort and console somehow, as well as parents and siblings and all manner or other mourning relatives, and coming in here and listening to Bush/Cheney lovers rant their disgusting drivel is certainly no way to prepare one's self for that, that's for sure.

So, I'll bid you adieu, and happy debating to you all.

To my fellow vets here: keep yer powder dry, gents! I'll see ya on the flip side...

The fact worth noting is that after 9/11, Bush let Bin Laden and his family fly out of the United States. He was concerned about his daddy's friend's safety. How touching?

stuart2561, you'll be less ignorant if your "facts" are correct.
bin laden was never in the U.S. after 9/11 !!
His family denounces him and doesn't shared his views. Using your logic, we should hold everyone of the family members responsible because they're related. Your aclu friends would loved that...........

The Diick Cheney and Oxycontin Limbaugh are a hoot. Both of them slithered away and shirked their responsibility to serve our nation by getting deferments to stay out of the military. Cowards. But then that's the Typical Nutball RINO.

Colin Powell sreved with honor and distinction.

A True American. A True Republican.

Of course he is disagreeing, because he knows he will face prosecution, and jail time for his crimes. He can fight and blab all he wants....the fact is he is a torturer, and the dark side of America in action..He gave the stand down order.....which really was a missile strike on the Pentagon....and he is complict in the Enron, coverup....and helping plan the events of 911. ... He killed a million innocent people....and should be following hsi pal GI just convicted for raping a 14 year old girl...It will be great to hear the testimony from him when he tells us that Cheney and other top officials also authorized rape as a torture method to extract information from family members suspected as terrorists.

Then why didn't Bush just "ask" for Osama himself, rather than wasting our tax dollars on a massive scale by pre-emptively invading Afghanistan?

Yeah, I saw that interview with Clinton while he was trying to wiggle out of the opportunities he had to get Osama...they would've handed Osama to him without ONE troop being involved....and all he can do is make excuses.

It was really hilarious...

Proof you can lead a far right wing-nut to the truth but you can't make them think. They are people who are so self-righteous, so ill-informed, and so dogmatic that nothing you can say or do will change their minds.

We had more actionable evidence against Saddam Hussein than we did for the ragtag bunch in Afghanistan. Saddam's atrocities were documented for all to see, Al Qaeda's atrocities were still in it's infant stages glommed together with little understanding of their strength.

Your statement is ridiculous, Saddam tortured and killed Iraqis, I believe your great leader also tortured and killed Iraqis.

How are you doing on the PNAC search?

stuart2561, I thank you for the list. Note that a number of these people are known felons as well. I for one will be proud to be an American when the Bush War Cabinet is dragged to the Haig in chains, and not before.

keep barking evil dickie .... idiots like you are exactly why the DEMS won. Each time they open their mouth they remind voters of what incompetent dumb as dirt buffons they are! In fact Cheney should make the rounds to all the Racist, hate filled talk shows ... Rush, Savage, Coulter .... birds of a feather flock together and will guarantee the repubs lose even bigger in 2010 ... they truely are dumb as dirt and think most Americans are just as dumb as they are!

You think he's the first President to have to take something back and re-work it? Lol. Come on, get real.

Maybe Obama really did come to the party poorly prepared, and got reprimanded for it. That's okay. It happens. Bush often did the very same thing - quite often, in fact. And the Dem congressmen came off earning a few brownie points with the public for their diligence. No small accomplishment, that.

Everybody on the hill is going to have to just do their best and try to muddle through cleaning up the many strange Constitutional messes Bush and Cheney created, and most of the damage they're trying to undo now is historically unique, to say the least - no President other than Bush ever pulled crap like that before. There really is no precedent for Obama to follow, so far as Bush's Gitmo mess is concerned. He deserves some automatic extra slack for having to undo the damage done by people who are certifiably nuts and who are trying to subvert the US Constitution from within the Oval Office, I think.

For all the manure spreaders that are already pilling on Obama after 4-months in office. Your great leader was in office for twice as long when we got hit on 911, during which time he was repeatedly warned of a possible attack.

OMG!
Posted by rednomo at 6:34 AM : May 24, 2009

Yeah, we all know that you were probably just eager beaver to go to war in Afghanistan BEFORE 9/11. It must have been ok with you to attack a country on what ifs right? After all, flying planes into buildings wasn't proven beyond a reasonable doubt, it was proposed that they might. In other words you are in support of attacking another country based on what the CIA says (even though it was not proven) and the topping on the cake would have been rounding up all the Middle Eastern looking men getting on planes (in the U.S.) before 9/11 happened. So, I guess you were for entering Iraq too based on your desire for Bush to stop purported attacks. We had more actionable evidence against Saddam Hussein than we did for the ragtag bunch in Afghanistan. Saddam's atrocities were documented for all to see, Al Qaeda's atrocities were still in it's infant stages glommed together with little understanding of their strength.
