Banks don't want you to pay your bills on time. They want to nail you with fees. If they can entice customers who don't always pay on time and who have higher rates even after a rate cut, they'll make more money. They care about their customers like the mafia loansharks care for the people they loan to. - Reply to this comment
- About a week ago I recieved a call from my Credit Card company asking if I was interested in lowering my percentage rate.....So of course I responded with a YES..After they ran my account # and they found out I have always payed my bill on time and I have a 7.9% rate..They came back and told me that I was not qualified for a lower rate because this offer is for those who are above a rate of 14.99%...Another words they were willing to give someone else a lower rate than mine if they were much higher to begin with...SO REWARD THOSE WHO DONT DO THE RIGHT THING BUT THE GOOD PEOPLE CANNOT TAKE ADVANTAGE AS WELL....I dont get it...Its the typical blow the smoke up your tailpipe ,SICKENING......American buisness tactics......

Yes, rates will go up and all of us "good" debtors will have exorbitant rates because of the deadbeats.
Oh wait, I'm paying for the deadbeats anyway and the idiots that gave credit cards to people that can't repay have huge salaries and bonuses for giving away more cards.
