" ... they are not the best, just the available and pliable."

I meant "viable" ... I wasn't being negative. He has had difficulties finding the best people.

Obama continues to do what is best for this country. it appears he has picked an excellent man for a very important position. Can you imagine how the Chinese will react to have an American speak to them in their own language? Kudos to Obama and best of luck to Huntsman.

"He picks the best people for the job, consistently, regardless of political affiliation."

... right, that's why he had to pick 3 Commerce Secretaries ... and all his picks have had tax problems ... they are not the best, just the available and pliable.

All his picks had tax problems?

Three out of how many hundreds of people?

Lying doesn't give your nonsense any credibility. (Just a little tip for you.)

PS - one of those commerce secretary nominees, was Judd Gregg REPUBLICAN from NH, because Obama thought he was the best man for the job.

Go ahead - tear him up now.

You know there was a time, before Karl Rove and Rush Limbaugh when we actually did talk to each other. When we actually compromised to achieve things. I know it sounds like a Old Man's Story and I guess it is! But once, before the Southern Conservatives and their Our Way or No Way, we didn't have to agree on everything to respect each other. All I can say is good luck to this New Generation that this President is leading! They have REAL potential.

Oh, what a hoot! Obama sends one of his potential 2012 rivals to China.

And Huntsman fell for it.

You know by the end of Obama's first Term you knuckle dragging ditto heads will be so far in the fringe that no one will pay any attention to what you say. Maybe you can't figure it out but the Nation is changing... no longer are the people of this nation intent on hating their neighbor because they don't agree on everything.... that's just you ditto heads! When I was a young man it was NOT unusual for a Republican to serve in a Democrat Administration or the other way around. All this "Hate them because they won't agree" crowd only came about when the Red Necks took control of the Republican Party... Now all those Republican's, those moderates who could disagree with you or try to find a compromise and still be American? They are in the DEMOCRATIC PARTY! LOL

Was there no democrat diplomats that could speak Chinese available to become an ambassador?

Why did they show a photo that makes Huntsman look like Fred MacMurry as the Absent-Minded Professor, and it looks like the president is looking at his butt?

And not smiling at all?

President Barack Obama reached across the political divide Saturday and named Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, a possible Republican presidential contender, to the sensitive diplomatic post of U.S. ambassador to China.

Yah, he wants to be able to blame the GOP when things go wrong.

He doesn't want one of his own in harms way.
