If Palin ever is the president the suicide rate in this country will probably skyrocket. That "airhead" should be allowed to advance no further than head cashier at WalMart, lol.

Dogma drones choose to subscribe to dogma. So be it.

But they have NO right whatsoever to try and force the rest of us to comply with their theology.

We have not chosen to do so and they have no right to decide for us.

Just for the record, I am very strongly in favor of taxing churches. They are run like a business and they should be taxed like a business.

WELFARE BREEDERS ARE THE FOUDATION OF WHY SOME PEOPLE JUST SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO REPRODUCE. IF YOU ALLOW A SON OR DAUGHTER TO LIVE IN YOUR HOUSE AND THEY DON'T PAY THIER CHILD SUPPORT? YOU ARE MORE OF THE PROBLEM THAN YOUR SORRY OFF SPRING.

We all know the vast majority of so-called "pro-lifers" are strong advocates of the death penalty, as well as for killing people through war. That clearly makes them very Pro-DEATH. Most pro-choice people are actually against the death penalty and starting phony wars. That makes them pro-LIFE.

Fine ------ as long as you pro-choice advocates consent to doing prison time for murder.

Why? Abortion isn't murder, and even if it was, I haven't had one, so why should I be charged with a crime?

Maybe the religious dingbats should admit that "abstinence only" sex education, was a miserable and horrible failure?

I believe the choice of abortion or not should lie in the hands of he creator. I beieve if the problem of dead beat parents were to be solved then the nations outlook on abortion would be different. Dead beat parents couch cows and welfare surfing crack head boyfriends and unwed mothers drain the tax payers of monet thet WORKED for. IF THE AMERICAN TAX PAYER HAS BEEN FEEDING AND CLOTHING YOUR CHILD FOR TEN YEARS? tHEN THE DEADBEAT PARENT OR P[ARENTS SHOULD BE PLACED IN A LABOR PROGRAM. tHEY OWE THIS COUNTRY TEN YEARS LABOR. bETTER YET CUT THE TIME IN HAF IF THET WILL ALLOW THE GOVERNMENT TO CUT THIER n___s OFF. AND STERILIZE THE WOMAN. HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE A DEAD BEAT PARENT SLEEPING ON YOUR COUCH THAT YOU CALL A SON OR DAUGHTER.? iF YOU ENABLE THEM THEN THEY WILL LIVE THAT WAY AS LONG AS MOMMY AND DADDY LET THEM.

The nation is moving closer to the point when we finally have a meeting of the minds on this issue. As the Freaks in the Religious Right found out, even states that are weighted against Abortion are not going to pass bad law or attempt to create a police state to prevent it. With Science progressing as it has and the availability of the Morning After Pill, we soon may find our youth moving to a point where Abortion is only needed for the health and safety of the Mother. The solution is going to be a combination of Educating our Young as to how to prevent unwanted Pregnancies and the availability to the best and most modern methods of stopping those if mistakes are made BEFORE the need for medical intervention is necessary. Sure the American Taliban will raise some resistance to those new methods but this new generation isn't going to stand for that either.

The last thing this country -- or world, for that matter needs -- is more damn people. Good God, what is this obsession with spawning all about? Transcend your evolutionary imperatives, fools; that's what the brain is for. Fewer people more of everything else, except war, disease, poverty, crime, pollution... Forget abortion, don't conceive.

I am pro-life - that doesn't mean I would presume to tell another woman what she should do. This poll was stupid.

More Americans Calling Themselves Pro-Life..........Gallup Poll: First Time Majority Leaned Pro-Life In 15 Years

I believe we here in America, have to seriously understand that abortion is no matter what you call it is taking, killing, murdering, life when it is conceived at the very beginning. The Liberal Crowd wants to declare that this is fine and to indoctrinate their followers to think KILL & KILL OFTEN when they are most defenseless, and not to spare any of the gross procedures involved in the process. Why they will set up and Fund Abortion Clinics World Wide to rid the World of these Unborn Parasites. We'll also pay for the PR to try to make you feel better while you're doing it.

There has also been movements of eliminating the life of terminally ill, mentality challenged, ethnic cleansing, genocide, race, religion, etc in the name of saving the planet, GW, or making this world a better place to live.

We the people deserve better that this Legalized Killing Mentality of Our Defenseless Unborn and then have the Liberals going around bragging about how we're saving our planet, preventing GW by doing it. So Sad!

So just to recap -- Hiroshima, Nagasaki, (nuked) lots of innocent life (including unborn fetuses) killed and no one seems too concerned.

That was a different situation. Millions of people were going to lose their lives either way. It was inevitable if the war continued. A dicision was made that less people would die via the atoms bombs that via a continued war. Thus, a painful decision was made to sacrifice a large number of lives from those who STARTED the war rather than allow an even larger number of lost lives from many countries who would be forced to remain in the war (By the way, the republican party wanted to remain isolationist and stay out of the war and it was democrats who wanted in. Only after the Japanese attacked pearl harbor did everyone get behind the declaration of war)

The only possible comparison is in the case of abortion where either the child is aborted or the mother dies. Here you have a similar choice where you decide which life to save. However, the Japanese situation in no way is comparable to millions of fetuses being aborted for convinience.

Maybe someday their will be high-tech test tube incubators that can support an aborted fetus. I would be glad -- really, truly.

I'll say it again. This isn't a debate about whether fetuses are human. Nothing magic happens at birth. It's a question of what constitutions rights a fetus should have and whose rights, the fetus' or the mother's holds sway when the mother wants an abortion.

What a terrible situation that you were raped. I hope the rapist was caught and you were able to get a sense of justice. I don't blame you for not wanting to carry his baby. I am curious however, what percent of women seeking abortion do so because they were raped or the baby constitutes a serious and irreversible threat to their health. Many "pro-life" people are not trying to take away the rights of these women to have abortion. However, it seems that the "pro-choice" crowd would like to see abortions as a routine procedure simply because a baby is inconvinent. In those cases, why should the mother's rights trump those of the fetus? Does a mother have the right to kill her child if the child is inconvinient?

I made a post an hour ago about raising the status of women and no one seems to have noticed it. Since this forum has turned into a sausage-fest I'm gonna turn in.
