Michelle currently has a higher poll rating than any first lady since Jackie Kennedy. Get over it.

By the looks of that picture its seems the first lady is getting back to not being proud again.
Posted by specialty8

Why? Because she's listening to her husband at that moment instead of posing for the omni-present photographers? Michelle currently has a higher poll rating than any first lady since Jackie Kennedy. Get over it.

IF you'd have gotten past the 3rd grade you'd know that Kenyan is NOT a race! Wow!!
Posted by skyk-2009

Really?

Obviously you never watched the NYC Marathon . . . if ANYBODY knows how to race, it's the Kenyans!!!
Posted by DaVicar5 at 6:07 AM : Apr 29, 2009

Easy Vicar, Skyk is not over receiving a medal at his "special" race. Of course there was that minor incident after the race-it seems skyks guardian sewed skyks name in his underwear in case skyk forgot. It was only after skyk announced his name as Fruit of the Loom that skyks guardian realized that once again, skyk had put his underwear on backwards.

question: would obama be president today if he were raised by his father instead of mother? yes or no? and why?
Posted by jwind1

Are you really asking a question...or trying to suggest that it was the "white" influence in his life that allowed him to rise to the U.S. Presidency?

Obama's father was raised as a goat herder in a small Kenyan village. He worked hard, studied, and received a scholarship to the University of Hawaii, where he met and married Ann Dunham, President Obama's mother. Obama Sr. went on to get a masters degree in economics from Harvard, and took doctoral classes as well. He ended up as an economist in the Kenyan Ministry of Finance.

Obviously, if President Obama had been raised by his father his life would have been different. He would have lived in Kenya, so it is unlikely that his career path would have taken him to the White House. So what? What does that prove or disprove?

so thats one "no".....anyone else?

You know, the word 'won't' is spelled with an apostrophe. If you had a brain, you would know that. But anyways...
'Loser', you say? And, what makes you a winner? To my knowledge, you haven't won anything. You couldn't win a turtle race if the turtle gave you a five yard headstart. Why? Because you're that slow. And, you're a bigot...and a moron...and an idiot...and a dufus...and...

TJ,
You better check the facts saying Obama is not giving money away to the rich. How much of the 800 billion and the 400 billion tarp money Bush left have you got? Just as I thought, none. How many new AIG millionaeirs do we have? No money to the rich, no signinig bills full of pork, wake up.

Sorry Jack, I thought the next 3 generations with the Obam plan was ONLY in debt for less than a hundred thousand each living person. Thank you for correcting me.

I don't care iof you call your boyfriend. I really don't care what you would call this. If you're not bright enough to realize that ALL electoins are nothing more than 'popularity contests', you're an even bigger idiot than I thought---and I think you're a pretty big idiot. Further, while you're busy trying to diagnose Obama's alleged 'problems', what is your 'problem' with him? That he beat the panty hose off your girl Hillary, then beat the socks off your boy McBush? That he isn't giving taxpayer dollars to the wealthy, and is instead forcing them to pay their fair share? That he isn't giving taxpayer dollars to big business? That he isn't waging war against innocent countries and unnecessarily sacrificing American lives? Or, is it because his hue is a bit darker than your own? Which one is it, moron? All you do is post lies, myths and rumors but insist this outlandish garbage is the truth. You are the typical Republican idiot. Then too, when and from where did you get your degree in psychology? Or, are you another one of these 'self-taught' bozos who hasn't got a clue?

Since we are in a racist mode, what has Oh!Bama done for the plight of Polish and Italian Americans lately? By the way specialty8, that debt is now up to $184,600 per American.

Well, this topic certainly energized the bigots.

The impact of Obama as a role model shouldn't be dismissed. There was an article in the Albany Times Union, picked up and expanded by Politico, that documented how students at Albany High School are using Obama's example and name to reinforce good behavior/attitudes and to get other students to self-censure negative behavior. http://dyn.politico.com/printstory.cfm?uuid=CA8E98E8-18FE-70B2-A85DB362D39E1985 It's still early to judge whether the effect will be long term, but it's certainly a tangible step in a more positive direction.

In the meantime, why don't you guys (that includes you Rowdy) take a break from Obama/liberal-bashing and do something positive for your community. There are lots of people suffering in the current recession. All of the energy and time you spend negative blogging could translate into making a positive difference working with veterans organizations, soup kitchens, etc. No matter what our politics, we are all Americans and should pull together in tough times.

What Has Obama Meant For Black America? Bigger checks. Higher taxes for small businesses to pay for the bigger checks.

Funny that your FIRST thought was that this was a "racial remark", huh? It's always about race, isn't it? It can't be that the poster thinks ANYONE who voted for B. Hussein Obama is abnormal because they didn't bother to look at the person beyond the color of their skin, they just voted FOR the skin color...

It can't be the original poster thinks anyone who voted for a terrorist for President is missing a few brain cells. It HAS to be that they're racist...

Take that tired argument somewhere else and let those without an agenda post. "kay?

Exactly what do you mean bvy 'normal people'? Is that a under-the belt racial swipe? If that 'naturally all the blacks voted for him' quip made any sense, then Michael Steele would have voted for him. He didn't. For one thing, you don't know anything about black people, so why you're running your mouth about us,

The question in my mind is: What has he done for America? Why does it have to be African American, Asian American, etc? My family came from different countries and when I look back, I could run as the first Irish, Scottish, German, Swedish American President. Could be that would get me some votes.

This is America and we should all have equal opportunities but we have to go find them and take advantage of them. We should not sit on our duffs and wait for someone to hand them to us. The best person should get a job, it should not have anything to do with nationality.

The people that cry racists keep the feelings going.
