- Nobody should be able to shoot someone in the back because they''''re running and then claim self defense. They knew they did wrong and that''''s why they covered over the evidence.

- This is really a surprise because last I heard last week the supporters of these men lost all hope with Bush and actually believed that Obama would be the one to come to their rescue.

- This is a very good thing. And, yes, Bush can pardon himself. The pardon is absolute and indisputable. I am glad for these 2 border guards. Illegal immigration is a cancer that is destroying this country.
Lou Dobbs is smiling today for sure!!!

This isn''t about illegal immigration. It was about two border guards shooting a man in the back and then lying about it. Only the brainwashed hate mongers try to make this about illegal immigration.

Sympathy for the Devil? He was shot in the assse. Was he your connection homes? - Reply to this comment
- SHRUBBLOWS, what''s cowardly is knowing nothing about law enforcement and it''s dangers, and then anonymously posting opinions on it, as you have done.
The only real benefit to changing Presidents this week is that coward weaklings such as yourself will no longer be able to blame Bush for every little thing in the universe. Now who will you whine about, you loser? - Reply to this comment
- In a week filled with bad news, this story is a great thing to hear. These guys should never have been charged, much less put in prison.
God Bless Mr Bush! - Reply to this comment
- [This was all set up to punish any border patrol agents, to set them up as example by the people in favor of allowing drugs to come into our country thru Mexico. ]

- shrubblows-guess it was ok for buba to pardon Puerto Rican terrorists??
The only reason you are so vile about this is because Bush pardoned them, no other reason. - Reply to this comment
- I personally would''ve pushed for executive pardons, but clemency is better than nothing.
Of course, how about just legalizing some of the drugs and take the profit motive out of it. And pump up state coffers at the same time. - Reply to this comment
- Thank GOD!! Lot better than marc rich or a bunch of Puerto Rican terrorists.
Wonder what holder thinks??
OR-does he think - Reply to this comment
- We are glad to hear that Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean have been granted Clemency by Bush. This is long overdue for these two men. This was all set up to punish any border patrol agents, to set them up as example by the people in favor of allowing drugs to come into our country thru Mexico. Ramos and Compean happened to be the trying to protect our country. Johnny Sutton gave Clemency to a drug dealer. Johnny Sutton should be arrest as a terriorst against our United States.
To the writers of nasty and violent messages on this website about this subject, young people are reading this. Clean up your act, if you can''t write anything without getting nasty and violent find another outlet for your aggression. This move is supported by both Texas Senators and all but 2 of the 32 House members so signed a letter to Mr. Bush urging the commutation. Stop the insanity. This is Martin''s Day. Would you say what you have written to Dr. King or your God? I didn''t think so. - Reply to this comment
- Now there''s room in the prison for Bush and Cheney.
