BLAGOJEVICH is innocent. He just followed orders from the real chief of this CHICAGO MAFIA: AL BARRACK CAPONE OBAMA. Obama should be impeached not Blago.

Actually, if anyone ever deserved impeachment its George W (Shrub) Bush... Everyone knows he has lied a thousand times over and he still gets a free pass. WHY??

They have Blago on tape. If the State Senate goes with the house Blago will be moving soon...

Due to his/her conduct, the governor has failed to uphold the oath of office

In place of governor put president, vice president, senator, congressman/woman etc....

The citizens of this country must have confidence that their government will faithfully serve the people and put their interests before it''s own. It is with profound regret that the people find that our current government has not done so. Perhaps we should impeach the whole lot of them!

I firmly believe that Rep''s and Dem''s are all crooks and criminals.

My guess is that if you were to bug the offices of every govenor in the U.S. we''d have another 49 dirtbags joining this scumbag in more embarrassing situations with more of em arrested.

No small wonder the Dem''s are being targeted at the moment as Bush and cronies get some parting shots in before they leave office by having the FBI investigate Dem''s.

Blago is not guilty of any wrong doing. He will be cleared. This was a set-up. Obama was mad because Blago was not going to pick the person Obama wanted to fill his seat. I hope Blago sells out on Obama.

I was wondering if we would hear from Blago''s mommy.

So is he still the active govenor?

According to Encarta Encyclopedia:
Impeachment, process by which a legislative body can remove public officials from office. Impeachment comprises both the act of formulating an accusation or indictment against an official and the subsequent trial. In the United States, impeached officials who are convicted are removed from office, and may be subject to further criminal prosecution. Most other nations do not have impeachment processes.

I''m sure that Pay-To-Play is rampant in Politics, Americans are not that naive or stupid, the idea that if you do something for me then I''ll do something for you is as old as the hills. However Blago made the mistake of giving his enemies something to sink their teeth into, solid evidence in recorded telephone conversations and rubbing it in their face daring authorities to record him. Blago is too open and too brazen for his own good and now they will rub his face in his demise in return!

Wonder how long it will be until his bulldog wife dumps his azz after he goes to jail and her gravy train has left the station.

Posted by demswin08 at 05:33 PM : Jan 09, 2009

If he goes to jail his whole world will be flipped upside down. He''ll go from selling a senate seat for big money to selling his own "seat" for a pack of smokes.

"Blagojevich Unfazed By Impeachment"

Kinda like psycho killers who see nothing wrong with loping off appendages of their victims. You have to have a conscience to recognize whether your actions are right or wrong. Politicians either lose their conscience the minute they take office or never had it in the first place.

Blago was impeached 114 to 1 by democrats and republicans alike. If Blago had been a Republican the vote would have been down party lines.

Has anyone else noticed this trend?

HEY ROWDY aka TEXHILLGIRL,

Where is the announcement from the Supreme Court? Where is the announcement that the Inaguration is on hold until the Berg case is heard? Where is the announcement that Obama cannot serve as President?

I am just waiting for someone to give me a reason as to why nothing has been heard from the Supreme Court today. No injuction to stop the Inaguration. No declaration that Obama cannot serve as President. Now who was it that was so hyped up over todays conference? Who was it that just "knew" the Supreme Court would find in favor of Berg? Oh, thats right it was rowdy.

I would also point out that Royko penned his book about Richard J Daley in 1971, Daily died in 1976 and Axlerod didn''t graduate college until 1977.
