Yes, but if you think that this type of behavior is restricted to democrats, then you don''t seem to have a very clear understanding of the scope of the problem. - Reply to this comment

Either this man bought his way into office, or the people of Illinois must be even dumber than the average American. - Reply to this comment

- I firmly believe that Rep''s and Dem''s are all crooks and criminals.
...the Dem''s are being targeted at the moment as Bush and cronies get some parting shots in before they leave office by having the FBI investigate Dem''s.

I''m not fooled either - by YOU!!!
Can your phony bipartisan. You had to get in your Bush bashing.
No, this won''t go away after Obama takes office.
It will get worse.
It''s not Bush. It''s not Cheney.
It''s the corrupt Democrats. They will be dropping like flies even faster after Bush is gone.

You can always spot a Bush hero worshiper by their unfailing willingness to ignore facts and truths.
And this isn''t about me bashing Bush, Bush kicked himself right in the nards when he lied 962 times to get us involved in a war for profit.
And you must also be a simpleton to not understand this kind of political hitmanship goes on as every incumbent leaves office under a cloud of self-perpetuated murderous hatred.
At least I''ve brains enough to realize all politicians are liars and criminals - you on the other hand are still seething over your party being kicked to the gutter where scum belongs. - Reply to this comment
- While I am sure that the evidence exists that warrants the impeachment of Governor Blagojevich, the U.S. Attorney hasn''t shown it to anyone yet...not to the Illinois legislature, the news media or the public. The U.S. Attorney is the one that started this by moving prematurely to arrest Governor Blagojevich before the evidence was suffucuently developed and now he has the Illinois legislature in an impossible position.
Blagojevich may be the first politician in history to be impeached solely on the word of the U.S. Attorney and without anyone seeing a shred of evidence against him. There is something very wrong with that.
Don''t get me wrong, I am no defender of this creep, but fair is fair and this isn''t. - Reply to this comment

- We''ll see how "unfazed" he is by a prison sentence. I suspect the headline that day will feature somewhat more colorful wording. ;)

- I think all the hair on Rod''s head is really an antenna and he is getting instructions from being''s on other planets. I think this man really has a mental problem. How long before the goons who are protecting him leave in disgust. I want our Illinois State Police to stop protecting this guy, he has been impeached and I don''t want my tax money going for his protection.
Jesse White, pull off the Illinois State Police from guard duty on this guy.
Senator Durbin, don''t let the U.S. Senate seat Roland Burris, he is just as egotistical as Rod. How can Burris forget about knowing a man who gave him $1.5 million dollars for his campaign in 2006 and now he says it was just a loan, a loan he has never paid back. I think this guy has something to do with the commuications business and wants Burris to let him have some of the air waves that are going to be available for sale by the government in Fed when they change from analog to digital. Everyone, lets check out just who and what companies are going to prosper on this deal. Who are the companies who are helping with the $40 dollar coupons towards the converter boxes??? Let''s check into this or if you know someone, tell us about it. Let''s blow the whistle on the upcoming mess to be..I know it''s gonna be big.... - Reply to this comment
- I hope Blago sings like a canary and exposes all the trash associated with this issue.

- It is time for the Governor turned tyrant to go the only interests he seems to serve is his own. He has stated he will fight to the end and ironically he might get his wish and get arrested again. Some one needs to tell him you don''t have to actually commit bribery in politics to be implicated by your peers you only need the intent made public the rest is history.

a freak show that refuses to leave the stage.

Funny - I couldn''t help but notice the remarkable similarity between Palin and her "staying power" and this idiot - Blagojevich.
Thanks for concurring. - Reply to this comment

- Blagojevich didn''t make Illinois politics a freak show, OBAMA did with with his big ears. No, seriously, I think Blago''s got some chutzpah what, with the Roland Burris nomination. I want to see this thing drag on until the next gubernatorial election in Illinois. GO BLAGO!!!

- "WE THE PEOPLE" need to get mad and demand that laws are passed that make removing bad leaders faster are put in place. If a cop is involved in a shooting he/she is placed on leave with pay until the investigation is completed, yet our congressmen, governerns, senators, state reps, mayors, etc...continue to serve for years while it all gets worked out, washed over, watered down, covered up, forgotten, etc...of course getting the Dems and Reps to make these laws will be next to impossible since it seems near all want to CYOA, just in case that week in Paris or $10,000 they got form some PAC is found out. "WE THE PEOPLE" do not stand a chance for truth and justice against the 2 party system we helped build, each side points fingers at the other while sending up the middle finger toward "WE THE PEOPLE".

- Due to his/her conduct, the governor has failed to uphold the oath of office
In place of governor put president, vice president, senator, congressman/woman etc....
The citizens of this country must have confidence that their government will faithfully serve the people and put their interests before it''''s own. It is with profound regret that the people find that our current government has not done so. Perhaps we should impeach the whole lot of them!

Spot on! I like the lottery winner scenario. If you win a state lottery, you automatically become Governor until the next lottery winner. Quick turn over I know, but they will be less likely to go for the cash grab & won''t be there long enough to get corrupted. And even if incest-born snaggle-tooth hillbillies get in office they couldn''t do any worse than what we have now. - Reply to this comment
