There are states in the north where nearly half of the population is getting some form of government aid. Combine that with the additional road maintenance with the snow and cold they are taxing the *** out of their people. NY wants to increase taxes on just about everything again. Have they ever heard of cutting a program or two?

Acorn was NOT guilty of "massive voter fraud efforts". The fraud was perpetrated against Acorn! People they hired turned in fake voter registrations so they could get paid more money by Acorn. That''s stealing money from Acorn! Acorn flagged all the fake registrations they could find before they turned them in. Nobody used any of those fake registrations to vote, so there was no voter fraud.

Only a Republican would say that Democrats "count votes until they win." Unfortunately, most Republicans on this forum do not want all the votes counted in any election.
