I don''t trust Palin any further than I could throw her....and I have a bad back!

Why would anyone want to burn down her church? What would someone hope to gain by doing this, other than publicity?! Anyone?

Good grief, maybe if us American would just stop bickering, obviously none of ya''''''''ll have heard of 2Chronicles 7:14 If my people who are called by name will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then will I hear from heaven and will HEAL their land. Seems pretty straight forward to me.

Here are a few more passages we need to read. God sanctions genocide.

# The entire population of the earth except for eight survivors (Genesis 7:23)
# Every inhabitant of Sodom and Gomorrah except for one family (Genesis 19:24)
# Every first born of Egypt (Exodus 12:29)
# All the hosts of the Pharaoh, including the captains of 600 chariots (Exodus 14:27,28)
# Amalek and his people (Exodus 17:11,16)
# 3,000 Israelites (Exodus 32:27)
# 250 Levite princes who had challenged the leadership of Moses (Numbers 16:1-40)
# 14,700 Jews in a plague who had rebelled against Moses following the killing of the princes (Numbers 16:41-49)
# All the subjects of Og (Numbers 21:34, 35)
# 24,000 Israelites who lived with Moabite women (Numbers 25:4, 9)
# All the males, kings, and non-virgin females of the Midianites (Numbers 31:7, 8)
# The Ammonites (Deuteronomy 2:19-21)

Does Palin think that she is THAT IMPORTANT ? OR is she so desperate to stay in the news that she has to say anything to get her name in the media once again ? Geez, she sure has the hide of a rhino, brains the size smaller than a pea. Go join the Dancing with the Stars, Palin...

Yeah? Maybe those in the Religious Reich will someday learn to keep their religion out of OTHER people''s lives. Frankly I think of them in the EXACT same way as I do the Taliban and HONESTLY they scare me a LOT more... a WHOLE LOT more!

Well, because Dr. Seuss was mentioned, I''d like to share the poem I wrote in the same vein as Dr Seuss.

Hope you like it, and it''s not meant as some earth shattering poem, it was written for fun.

Liverwurst & Fishhead Sandwiches
Where they come from, I don''t know
Where they go, you tell me
And we''ll both know.

I see fishey''s swimming.
I''ve never seen a liver at it''s best,
Forget about it''s wurst, I dunno
You tell me and we''ll both know.

The thing I don''t want to know is
Liverwurst and fish-head sandwiches.

How about Dr. Seuss? At least that would add some FUN imagination and wonder to the whole "belief" thing, instead of all of the smiting and such...

Naw. The Grinch reminds me too much of the Bush Administration. The Whos in Iraqville don''t like him much either.

Sure I''''ve heard it, but it was a passage written by man. Might as well pick a few lines from a Stephen King novel to believe.

Posted by slownewsdaze at 05:46 PM : Dec 14, 2008

Eep. Let''s pick a different, less scary novelist, ok? 8-)

I have to wonder about the arson theory, and what they have to support that. I believed it without question until I heard a bunch of people there were working on crafts. There are plenty of ways to accidentally start a fire while working on crafts, and no one would want to admit doing something careless after the fact.

IamHungry. Do you know why the Dutch settlers first came to the US? To be free from religous persecution. The same for the Jews, for the Catholics, for the agnositcs and yes, for those who do not belive in God. So, now what do you propose? To persecute the religous. Spoken like a true liberal. You must be from New York City.

Nobody wants to "persecute the religous". What we do want is to be free of those who seek to establish an autocracy in America. That would be the fundamentalist christian right...
