It really is a sad day when a Democrat begins to behave as a Republican...

This is about a Democrat Governor trying to bride Democrat politicians in a Democrat run state,no Republicans involved, hopefully Blago he will be a cell mate to the Republican X Governor already in prison.

Candidate No. 5

Kind of sounds like a cologne or something.

If a Senate seat goes for $1M, what do you suppose a Supreme Court appointment would be worth? Keep in mind it a lifetime postition... no pesky elections to rig.

Someone wrote: [Bush] and Cheney should be on trial for TREASON!!! They knowingly outed a covert CIA operative on spite because her husband stated publicly that Africa did not sell any nuclear equipment to Salaam - one of the MAIN reasons Bush stated we had to go to war with Iraq!!!!
---------------

That doesn''t qualify as ''Treason.'' See Art. III, Sec. 3, U.S. Constitution:
''Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.''

Hey Jessie JR might of thought he was honest probably so did Blago but who really knew? Everyone can say they are honest but that doesn''t mean they really are. We the people have to make sure we know who they are as a person before we cast that vote character should be a big aspect of that anyone could at least halfway agree with that

Jesse Jr. is just as dirty as Rod Blagojevich. I didn''t believe a word he said in his news conference. I hope the news organizations will look over their old films, and photo''s and see that this guy had to have contact in the last 4 years with Rod. His Daddy, Jesse Sr. was probably also involved in getting his son the job as Senator. We need a state wide election. Let the chips fall where they may. It''s our turn, the citizens of Illinois to choose our next Senator. Only Honest Politicans or Honest People need apply. The rest of you scum bags, get out of town...

That''s ''I''ll take'' and ''over these freaking Republicans'' or ''this freaking Republican.'' Also, ''you are reading this.''

From a ''passed Ninth Grade English in a public school'' white man.

Well, at least he didn''t shakedown Blagojevich for the appointment, like Dad would have.
