John McCain promised to do for individuals, and small businesses, exactly what the federal government does for Incorporations today.....

Use every dollar up to a ceiling limit they spend on buying healthcare insurance from a private, non-government provider as a tax credit.

Posted by DemsSUK2 at 12:06 PM : Dec 03, 2008"

Yeah - only the limit that Panamanian Johnny was proposing for individuals was far lower than it provides for incorporations

Whereas Obama was providing to allow for all people the same benefit that he gets and all Federal employees (and their dependants receive) - the chance to buy the same health insurance that they get at prices far lower than they pay for their current insurance
In other words Obama was offering all americans the opportunity to have the same Government health insurance that Panamanian Johnny has had his entire life and seems so fond of that he''s refused to leave it for the free market health insurance he touts for everyone else

Thanks for supporting my point Marsha.

As I have said all along, Barack NObama''''s offer of "Free Government Cheese" was enough to buy the most votes.

"Better plan" had absolutely nothing to do with it, since there was a tax credit offered for any of us who went and bought own plan by John McCain.

And, a promise to give away lots and lots of "Free Government Cheese" from NObama.

So please, let''''s not try to talk "issues" or "plans", cause you lose before you get started.

I am still trying to understand why YOU seem to hold a DOUBLE STANDARD in regard to the campaign promises.

Why do you consider it ''BUYING VOTES'' when Obama offers help to Americans with health care expenses, but when McCain offers help to Americans with health care expenses, you call it ''REFORM''?????

The average IQ in Georgia is under 50 - you''re being a bit cautious aren''t you.......the facts suggest that the average IQ in Georgia barely reaches double digits
