There is no rivalry between Obama and Clinton, anymore. Clinton came to terms with the reality that serving her country as the Secretary of State would be extremely good for the country, and accepted the offer. In many ways, her previous experiences have prepared her very well for this. Hillary Clinton is a great collection of talent, experience and ability.

Some great Secretary of States in our past have called this position as a gate keeper for political and economic channels. Keeping the right doors opened and closed in proper protocol and sequence, makes the expected results possible, when they are possible.

The hardest thing the Obama administration has to confront is reversing the trend of disadvantage by poorly negotiated agreements from prior administrations.

There is a clause in the U.S. Constitution that prevents a member of Congress in this case Sen. Hillary Clinton from voting on a pay raise for a Cabinet Post in this case Secretary of State and then legally occupying that Post. This has happened in this case, it will be fun watching how they spin this one and allow Sen. Clinton to serve! LOL Shame on you Barack Obama! LOL
