Clinton as secretary of state would be a terrible setback to U.S. diplomacy and an insult to our standing in the world.

Whats so bad about it. Having a bright intelligent woman that has a great reputation in the world community. Bush had an abysmal foreign policy record.

right....maybe if Bush has a hummer
in the oval office every once in while,
which as a President I would think it comes
with the job....but who am I......
maybe then this country would have been
a better place in the last 8 years.

Miss Bill, Love Hill.

Finally, someone who is known, loved and respected on the world stage and actually has the ability to mend the trampled fences that Bush and his Condi puppet have managed to destroy. Smart and gutsy move Big O!
Stick in DUBYA''s face.

I wonder what Condi will have to say after Jan 20th. Will she admit to the stupidity of following a false god or will she still defend the little dipstick.

We''ll see!

Correct!!

This is a REAL president! Surrounding himself with the best and brightest, and not the good-ole-boys from back home. There can be no doubt that Bush would have failed anyway, but it certainly did not help that he gave top jobs to his Texas drinkin'' buddies. Who could ever forget Gonzo?

The Secretary of State should be someone of impeccable integrity and decency. Someone who could command respect for their knowledge of geo politics and international relationships. Above all else, a person who is held in high esteem for their wise council and worldly wisdom. The likes of Bill Richardson and Valerie Jarrett qualify on merit.

The United States is trying to recover from the debacle of having the imbecile George Bush as head of state, a person who is universally despised around the world as an ogre. Now we are faced with getting the Queen of Sleaze as secretary of state. Just more of the same. Certainly Obama can do better.

I voted for change. If Hillary Clinton is secretary of state, I will vote for change again. Maybe McCain wasn''t so bad after all.

Look at the photo above. Maybe you are already blind. She is positively GLOWING with vitality. Like your moniker suggests, you seem to put a negative gloss on things. Hillary looks considerably younger than her 61 years (not that it''''s an important consideration). Perhaps your comment is sexist.

No, not a sexist. She just looks pale to me. I''m actually being silly because I know pictures and appearances don''t really mean anything in regards to doing a job. But the picture I''m looking at does have her looking like craap. Perhaps we''re looking at two different pictures. Or you have your beer goggles on.
